I guess we'll never get to hear Clifford Brown cover this tune, but Bruce has mastered so much of Clifford's ballad style that this version is a good substitute

Nicely modified cornet Mr. Harris is playing; making the horn part of the owner, like a vital organ "Moody's Blues for Love", one tune I'll love always.

That's a tag that Bird used to play to end ballads.

It's a tune called '' in an English country garden '' .

@@gethinliddington3144 Apparently, that came out only 1963, Bird played his tag in 1948 at least. Unfortunately Phil Schaap who would have known exactly where Bird got this phrase from recently passed away.
