It is just not fair how easy Russel Hall makes it look to walk a bass at a million miles an hour
@stuartweissman73062 жыл бұрын
i was going to say something similar...perhaps a 1,000 mph...so how good can he really be, if it's just as easy as it looks??

holy shit emmet activated brad mehldau mode at 7:42 absolutely mindblowing from the bridge to the turnaround, also the reharm segment at 7:25 jesus christ, the interactions all throughout the tune, just wow.... I guess that's what happens when you stick 5 world class musicians in a room together and you forget the recording is on, just the little things for example during russell's solo at 9:37 to 9:50 at the bridge, this shit was hard... or from 5:26 to 5:38 going into the bridge during benny's solo, man i would pay to see that live also flight of the bumblebee quote at 9:59 ?? ruben fox got jokes
@brianrinckenberger62652 жыл бұрын
At 7:42 Emmet’s playing reminds me of Oscar Peterson, playing with both hands in unison like that. Emmet always makes playing look so easy, but man, for that passage he was FOCUSED!
