Man, I would pick out Miguel's sound just after a few seconds. That fat sound, the inflections, those staccato's, the rhythmic accents he uses. Zenon's music is always taking you to exciting places, love it!

Great articulation, he reminds me of Sonny, not because they have a similar style or language (I mean, in some sense you could make a point that they have a remote similarity, but that excedes the point I´m trying to make). He reminds me of Sonny because I experience the same kind of "freedom", or "spontaneity" in their playing. That feel, I think, it manifests mostly in rhythm and articulation, and it is in my humble opinion the cornerstone, the essence of jazz.

Miguel just brings the rhythm section right to him and then weaves himself in and out of it while playing melodic lines throughout. What s great musician and Saxophonist! Love the way he uses altissimo on this tune too.

miguel’s rhythmic sense is so amazing. i’m blown away every time i hear him play. one of the great voices of his generation… his tone and articulation is so personal you can tell it’s him within a phrase.

Lol, Miguel has one of the most distinct and beautiful alto sounds ever. Doesn’t have to be your cup of tea but saying that it isn’t good is pretty ridiculous
