Emmets chops and feel are second to none right now. Extremely underrated . We don’t have to wait until a guys old and grey to call him one of the greats. He can easily be one of them if he isn’t already.

EMMETT IS THE FINEST JAZZ PIANIST PLAYING TODAY. OVER THE LAST DECADES WE’VE HAD THE GREATS AND EACH WAS TALENTED IN A PERSONAL STYLE. EMMITT HAS HIS BUT HAS LEARNED AND INVENTED CHORDS AND PLAYS SOLOS IN A COMBINATION THAT SWINGS AND CHALLENGES THE LISTENER. BRAVO!

There are lots of fine jazz pianists playing today! I think Emmet is like the Oscar Peterson of the scene today - at the intersection of many styles, a synthesis of many sounds, but bringing his own flare to it that is undeniably fun and easy to listen to.
