My 17th birthday gift, which was last year, was a trip to Orlando in April. It was gifted by my uncle and my aunt and it was the MOST AMAZING WEEK OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. We went to Universal, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter, so the way they told me we were going was through a Hogwarts acceptance letter (I obviously cried). We actually went to the Minions and Shrek rides so I could get like a little hint of how the rides were there (bc in my country we don't have those kinds of rides). I almost didn't go to the Gringotts one bc of one the ladies saying that there was a drop and I was like HELL NAH... it would've been the WORST decision bc I DID GET ON THE RIDE AND ALL THE OTHER RIDES. It was truly amazing the whole thing, and I wish I could've spent more time there even though we went two days to both Universal parks and not only the HP ones. I didn't have enough money, but I did buy the interactive Elder wand and a Slytherin backpack. I was soooo sad when I couldn't buy the whole Slytherin costume but oh well... and the Butterbeer, ugh, that shit is GOOD AF. Sorry for the long ass story lol, I just still can't believe I made one of my biggest dreams come true 💕

UGH SO NOSTALGIC! When I lived in Florida in late 2016-mid 2017 I had an annual pass for universal specifically for the Harry Potter part. Haven’t been there since and I’m long overdue for another visit. I’m highly considering it this month for my birthday in a couple weeks ❤️

universal studios is my absolute FAVORITE place in the entire world! my family had annual passes for about two years because it’s only a six hour drive for us, and i literally know my way around the parks better than my hometown. watching this vlog took me back and i’m literally in tears rn. i’m so glad you got to experience it as well ❤️

I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter literally the week after it opened because my family was in Florida for my step brothers high school graduation and I literally begged my mom to take me. It was on one of the worst weather days but I was absolutely in love with the park. I’ve been dying to go back since the other side opened and I really hope I can go soon!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Emma! I have been a few times but one of my favorite memories was my sister and I sitting up on the steps near Gringotts at night, drinking butterbeer and watching people react to the dragon fire. It’s a truly magical place!

I only got to go recently for the first time and it was because my university's football team was playing a Bowl Game in Orlando and our band directors fought for us to go for one day. I loved it so much!! I went with a bunch of girls from my Life Group (bible study but we live life together) and we all had SO SO much fun. The light show was amazing!

This video made me so happy. I think I had a cheesy smile the whole time while watching it. I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter a few years ago before they expanded the park beyond Hogsmead. I am desperate to go back but haven’t yet as I’m from Australia. My friend and I had annual passed in 2017 and one of the things we used to do was go to Knockturn Alley and watch people get scared by the doorknob. It was always hilarious. Being chosen at Ollivander's is really special. I got chosen my first time too. We think it was the red hair.

I went with my mom in 2014. We had a week with other parks to do as well so I didn't get to enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as much as I would have liked too. There were tons of people and it was freezing and cloudy all week. Mom was getting tired of the walk so fast, too. I did get Hermione's wand at another place than Ollivander's since I either didn't see it on time or there were too many people. The Hogwarts Express was amazing. The Butterbeer was really good though mom wasn't impressed. Hermione's ball dress, the dragon on top of Gringott's. And I'll be forever sad I didn't get to buy a sweater, the scarf and a robe... That would have been amazing!! I wish to go back so, so, so, so much!!!

I loved your reaction to the Olivanders show! I have annual passes and the first time I walked into hogsmead I was startstruck by the sight of the castle. I has Hermione Granger for last Halloween so I had a gryffindoor robe but the first time I walked in was a surprise but the next time I brought the robe. We get butterbeers and I was so in love. We got on the Hogwarts express and I walked on and I forgot how to breath for a minute I was so in love with my surroundings. A few visits later and I was walking out of the forbidden journey and one of the cast members said "goodbye gryffindoor" the thing is, I'm a Hufflepuff but I got a Hufflepuff uniform for Christmas and I am so excited to wear it to Harry Potter world. I still need to get my wand and I really hope I get chosen at the Olivanders show. If not I will just get a refular wand. I really want to go and get candy from honeydukes. I ate at the three broomsticks last time I went and again,I forgot how to breath. My dad got me a frozen butterbeer and that was my dream,to have lunch and a butterbeer at the leaky cauldron or the three broomsticks. The Forbidden Journey que had me smiling ear to ear the whole time. The way you walk into Dumbledoor's office to the talking painting was amazing. My family does ot read the books or really know anything about Harry Potter so my brother and I were in Dubledoor's office and was talking about you-know-who. I asked if he even knew who you-know-who was, he asked if it was Draco Malfoy. I facepalmed and laughed. I love the details of the Hogwarts que. The DADA room was so cool too!

My first time at the Wizarding World was last May. It was so much fun. My favorite part was seeing Hogwarts and Hogsmead and Diagon Alley. I loved drinking Butterbeer. It was a really great experience. Plus I got an Ginny's wand which was really exciting.

I’m so glad you all had such a great time! I went a few years ago when it was just the first part. I LOVED frozen butterbeer. I’m not a fan of roller coasters but I had to go on the dueling dragons one because HARRY POTTER (the first roller coaster that goes upside down I’d been on ever) and I went to the Forbidden Journey one right after & threw up on it. Oops! I felt so bad but loved every minute because I was in Hogwarts!

What a perfect video to start the New Year, one of my favorite booktubers at my favorite place! I miss the Wizarding World so much ; one of my goals is to make it there around Christmastime to see the light show!
