I love the delivery. Such a beautiful machine by the way. I love its security features but what I love the most is the fact that it is green and environmentally friendly. This is what the globe needs right now in reducing pollution and ensuring efficient use of resources.

I like how light and simple it is. I have a Vespa look alike E-scooter but it is heavy at 100KG.

Heavy means it's hard to steal 😅. The security of these bikes are usually really good. But if you know what to do? The alarms are easily disabled. (I've never owned an ebike and I'm good w hot wiring. I'd have this thing gone in abt 5minutes. Ijs)

one thing i don't like about these type of ebikes is that people think they are illegal. i personally bought a normal mountain bike and slapped a 750W motor on it. Been riding it for at least 1 year and not a single person ever said anything to me. However your bike sure looks cool! :) PS i believe these are made in China by thousands. they dont have any logo or anything. then they are sold to smaller companies that put their own logo and offer warranty etc.

I just bought the T2 and it is junk. It is slower and does not go as far as the Urban 2.0 I had for 8 years. I went through 3 batteries and the last two batteries were only half the distance. I drove it all year round. Lastly, I was born in T-Bay.

Hey, thanks for the video. We just got a used one that was purchased new in AUgust 2018, so just about a year ago. Ours doesn't beep at all. I think yours beeped when you turned it off. Any tips/suggestions/things we should look at? Also, does yours have an alarm? I'm told ours doesn't. We bought it new. Right now we have a rear turnal signal and horn that doesn't work, everything else seems ok.

Hi a little bit of modern reseach would have got you to this ! Front brake disk ! have to sort your own lipo i did 5x 11.1v 18000mha Discharge 30C max 60C 10C charge + BMS = just over 55v in a battery box half the sixe ....move rake of hadlebars forward 3" and 2 12/80 U5 spotlights 12/80v and engage regen on controller or put 800w 48/60/64 v controller 3 speed 1 low 2 norm 3 high by 15% and a few wiring mods and your away Pedals are only to assist during 1 st 10ft. ...i use mine alot 2 up !

It's got an alarm. But it's easily hot wired. Depending on the weight it's also easy to carry away too. In busy cities like Toronto, they're easily stolen.

Have you opened the battery "box" yet? I'm interested because it looks like once opened, these (Emmo / Gigabyke use same battery box) just simply have 4 lead acid batteries wired up (I saw a site that even sells a set of jumpers to connect the batteries inside). So being a standard lead acid, you could buy replacement batteries in a 4 pack for $99 US, as Ebay has tons of them. Way Way less than the $400 they charge... even wondering about having a second pack if you could somehow get the plastic battery box, and then swap batteries back and forth (e.g. one battery to/from work, a second battery at the ready for evening rides...).

UL certification is a must. I wouldn't recommend cheaping out on batteries. It could be dangerous and lead to explosions and leaking etc. Saving a few hundred when you're only going to be spending said hundred every 2-5 yrs? Ya not worth it.

one thing i wonder about the emmo urban is unlike other escooters it looks like it could actually be pedaled around if the battery runs low. but is this actually possible/practical.

You are correct that the riding position and location of the pedals makes it feel natural to pedal. But realistically due to the weight of the bike and the size of gearing they chose you won't go very far or fast pedaling. Get the best battery you can afford and keep the charge topped up.

I have the Urban 1 from many years ago. They are bomb proof and weather proof. Ive ridden in rain storms and in fairly cold weather, -5 Celcius. The Lead acid 12 ah is pretty short range and its heavy to carry. I imagine the Lithium battery is a dream, any ah.

Umm not legal to go 48km speed on public road ways on an ebkie or escooter. The set speed is the legal limit for that bike on public roads. Its an ebike not a motorcycle. You want that speed get a motorbike and pay for the petrol and a licence! LOL! What you wsnt to do is for people to tell you how to break the law?

They are tough as hell, require almost no maintenance and can be ridden in the rain. Mine is 7 years old and I just gave it away as a gift, still going strong. Original tires.

It is oddly simular coming from two separate companies. Looking at their website, a lot of Emmo's products look a lot like other products. So I believe they may have nicked the design from the Gigabyke Groove. I don't think it is the "crappy version" though it still looks like a solid bike. (better be for 1000 to 1700 dollars).

How long the battery will last is not measured in time, but in distance. Riding conditions and weight of the rider -are also very important. I had the original Urban, which is very similar to this one, slightly less efficient. I had a lead acid battery 48V 12ah. I weigh 180lbs and it would take me only 20 km at full speed with a few hills. Its heavy to carry around, close to 50 lbs. I would highly recommend going lithium.

My Iboss has no pedal assist button like s e push bike you just start pedalling snd yes it helps you get more milage if you do pedal.

No, there is no trandmission like you have on a car . The moment you push the throttle foreward the bike moves so you do have to get used to that. Also on my e scooter which is an Ibosa, the throttle works by rolling it foreward and this takes getting used to as when cornering I tend to lean on my right wrist and this rolls the exalerator forward and the bike goes faster not slower into the corner which is unsafe so something I have to be very aware of. Other than that it goes well and is very comfortable to ride. Bought because work is only 4 km away and too far to walk to and from in the hot weather but too close to feel OK using the car over such a short distsnce. My attempt at going green. 😊
