Well explained 👏. I will add few of my experiences. Windows and doors which are not being opened, seal them with Tape. This will prevent entry of Dust and escaping of cold air. Keep a room temp thermometer to know general temperature. It could be a wall clock. This will let you know the room temp and adjust the AC temp. I start my AC at 20/22°C, keep fan on and after 20 min or so reduce to 24°C. I assure that 26°C temp is comfortable (without AC Blanket) At night, we generally switch off AC after 2-3 hrs. Our fan keeps circulating cold air and it is comfortable. One can switch it On as required. I find it amusing when some people keep the AC running the whole night at 18°C and use AC Blanket!! What a waste of electricity 🙄. Mostly we use No covers or at best a cotton sheet. Some people in new construction, make provisions for AC but not for ceiling fans. They forget that sometimes there are power cuts and we depend on inverters. If room is cool enough; ceiling fan will see you through for long hours.

@@rohitjain6181 high speed with Hitachi AC and when room gets cool enough we switch ac off. And with Mitsubishi Heavy it's difficult to put the fan on because room gets so chilli that after few minutes you hv to switch the a c off. Hope this will help :)

I have a Toshiba 5 star inverter AC and an Atomberg BLDC ceiling fan in the bedroom. On most nights, we used to set the AC at 24 degrees, but often ended up with non-uniform cooling and too hot/too cold type of situation. For the last few weeks, we have started running our ceiling fan at the lowest speed setting and set the AC to 25 degrees with the slowest blower speed and lowest power setting for the compressor. The sleep has definitely improved with more even cooling through the room. As the ceiling fan is with BLDC motor, it draws power in proportion to its speed, which I believe is around 8 watts at the lowest speed.

26 or 27 degree with fan at no 1 or 2.. most economical. The air contributes to wind chill factor which lowers the temperature feel up to 3 to 4 degrees. So you feel temp as 23 to 24 degrees which is good enough...

Mandeep Singh fully agreed that while using ceiling fan with ac.I personally noticed that my non inverter ac thermostat starts cutting more frequently when we use ceiling fan with ac and when only ac is running without ceiling fan it takes sometimes hours to cut.There is huge difference.I run my ac at 25`C.

I am using split inverter AC.. with fan since past 3yrs.. and yes..power consumption in not high..also, I use almost 12 hrs ac per day. After cooling for 2-3 hrs.. and fan on..room remains cool for 60-90 minutes without ac. I keep temp..27deg and after 4hrs.. I need chaddar.

Speaking from my experience (specially with split ac and window Acs installed at a height), and addding what I think is the reason , one should NOT use fan with ac. I've observed than room gets more cooled and gets cooled faster too when fan is off. The reason might be that AC's job is to suck in hot air, cool it and blow it out. When fan is running, it circulates and also pushes down the hot air (since warm air rises above) which prevents AC from sucking in all the hot air that it can and hence slower cooling. Of course one could say here that inside a room which is barely 8-10 ft in height, there won't be much difference in air temperature at the floor and ceiling. Even I'm not sure about this. Just my observation.

Sir I have a o general 1.5 ton window AC but since last year my ac gives cool air but my room is not chilled it's look like a cooler now current year I changed cooling coil but problem is same, according to me thermacol packing is missing after cooling coil that's the reason for low cooling ?? Please reply

U can check any gas leakage.. coz missing of packing is leakage of cool air but ur problem is that itself doesn't blows chilled air

It's blow cool air but room is not chilled and 20 days back I already changed cooling coil and filling gas
