Amazing how time goes by... Even when you posted this, Emmy was already over 30 years old. While talking about a tv-show where she was only 11+ How timeless movies and pictures can be, feeling like it was recorded not long ago. Now she's probably with her own children.

Monk is one of my favorites. Trying to watch Psych and it just doesn't hold a candle to Monk. Emmy is a sweetheart. Scenes with her and Traylor were always so sweet. Traylor obviously really cared for her.

Great friendships can happen anywhere, also on the work floor. Especially if that work floor deals with a lot of people. This i know from personal experience (though not acting, but working in a store)

I absolutely love Monk, and it is a tribute to all of the actors on Monk that while "Sharona" and "Benjy" were very missed, it is impressive that Traylor and Emmy were able to come in and give new life and energy to a show that was already pretty perfect. Emmy struck a perfect note as a young actor...intelligent and warm and funny. Basically I want to say thank you for contributing so much to a show that personally has meant a lot to me.

Wow, Emmy is all…grown up! Emmy doesn’t even sound the same when she was on MONK anymore. She sounds so…mature! I like that, I like that!! 😃

She was such a beautiful kid on the show who grew into a gorgeous, exquisite young lady. Love her personality, she's amazing, if only I could find a girl like Emmy, I'd be the happiest man ever!

I am glad she doesn't go along with that new and disgusting fashion where women make their lips fat. She looks more woman than most her age.

There should've been a spin-off where Benji Fleming and Julie Teeger meet in person and share their experiences of Monk! 😅

Nice hearing from Emmy, seems she's very happy with life and has moved on from the acting business. There is currently talk of a Monk TV movie in the works (although there was ten years ago which came to nothing) I'm wondering if this time it goes ahead if Emmy might briefly return to acting just so we can see how Julie Teeger is getting on. I hope she does.

Awesome comment! I actually hadn’t heard of the idea of a TV movie. That would be cool if that happened!!

@@LT14 It's a shame you didn't know before you interviewed Emmy, would have been a good question to ask to see what she's heard about it and if she'd be a part of it.

Even though shows like CSI are supposed to be more realistic, I find that others like Monk and The Mentalist are more realistic. In CSI they just happen to find all the details "because it is their job". But details like that aren't just found because you studied for it... University doesn't teach you to find those details. Forensics learn to investigate what was already found. Field investigators learn to profile the scene and find proof. But finding true details, anything small, is something that's already in you. Nervous breakdowns, burnouts and other heavy mentally damaging events can also give or rather awaken affinity to seeing details. This was of course the case of the character Monk. Born with eye for detail like that are most people with autism. There is always one problem for all of these cases: they never get believed until they deliver undeniable proof. This always gets demanded when they state their thoughts and show the details found. It can be rather frustrating to not be believed, just because you see something different. In worst cases it is said they're seeing things that aren't there. The best of them will spot a dead pixel in a 75inch, or bigger, 8k screen within seconds, while it takes people who studied the highest possible grades minutes until hours to see it. Eye for detail from people who are mentally different like that is very reliable. The way Monk uses that eye for detail and his great memory is more appealing than watching the same routines every time on shows like CSI.
@WhatTheFantomАй бұрын
P.s. between Monk and The Mentalist, i think that Monk wins. Where Monk finds all the details to close the perpetrator into a corner of proof, The Mentalist sometimes has to trick them into confessing. Hard proof trumps confessions.

She basically said that she just wanted to go to college after Monk and that she doesn’t feel a need to act right now or in the near future, but hasn’t ruled it out all together
