What I like about her so much is that she doesn't spit out the food and cuss like insane like some youtubers do when they do taste tests... She still respect the food as it is. =)

I just got a snack package from Hong Kong, myself, and it had the same Dragon's Beard candy in it!! The person that sent it to me also included black sesame and almond. I tried the one you tried, and have yet to try the others. I've been obsessed to try it since I saw a couple KZbin videos on street vendors making it! It wasn't as sweet as I thought it was going to be, but non the less, it was AMAZING! I also received a couple DIY candy kits. The pizza one, the chocolate bear puzzle, the toilet candy, and a gummi you shape into a squid. I'm so excited to make them, and I've had you, along with others to thank for that! Keep making your videos, Emmy! I love learning about exotic foods!

Hi, Emmy! If you want to see the creation of the dragon's beard candy, you can just go to your local china town. They actually have vendors that sell it but the candy-makers spin the candy right before your eyes. It's a great experience and I highly recommend it. Great video too!

In Mexicali (Baja California/Mexico) where my mom was born, salted plums are called "saladitos". I like to cut an orange in half and stick a saladito in the middle. Then, we eat the orange making sure to take a lick of the saladito each time. When the orange is gone, a lot of the salt and flesh is gone from the saladito and the remaining flesh is chewy and delicious from absorbing the orange. Try it and you may become a fan. 🍊 Also, you rock! - Virginia

We have another busy summer planned. Late June, I will go to the Fiber Retreat at Lake Arrowhead, hosted by Bjo and John Trimble. I hope to learn Irish Cottage Knitting as well as hang out with friends. The following week we go to Westercon/Conchordance in San Diego for a convention weekend. The GOH is Spider Robinson, so we are both excited for that! We will stay a few extra days in San Diego afterward to celebrate my 50th birthday! We will escape there before the SDCC crowds come in. We don't have plans for the rest of the summer, but will definitely not be lazing at home! Movies, museums, meeting friends will take up our weekends. Then, football season! But first, I have to defeat walking pneumonia. :-(
