My middle school had an ice cream vending machine in the cafeteria and I was supposed to buy my lunch at school but I remember when I hated the lunch options I would go get a Toll House ice cream sandwich instead! Chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. Highly nutritious lunch 😂

Originally, the Three Musketeers bars were vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. One bar of each flavor, or 3 squares that made up the amount of a solid bar. Chocolate was the favorite flavor, however, so eventually the other two flavors went away.

I'm thinking you could use white almond bark and make Hershey "Zero" bars. I'm gonna try it. Same thing as 3 musketeers basically, just covered in white chocolate.

I have better gadgets. I have an old egg slicer with a handle that exerts enough force to easily slice an egg. Like you showed, I flip the egg around to get more cuts. It’s quick, easy and the slicer is compact. For shaping eggs, I use a metal or silicone ring with a handle. The sides are straight. I prefer the silicone because they are easier to grease and release the egg better. The bowed out sides of the one you demonstrated looks as if it would be more difficult to release. A silicone pastry brush will make it easier to coat the ring if you have problems with oil not coating all of the surface you need to. I love silicone pastry brushes. I wish they had been around long before they were.

Emmy, I have found that the best tool for me to chop up hard-boiled eggs for egg salad is a round-bottomed bowl, like a mixing bowl, and one of those hand-held pastry cutters. The ones that look like a capital "D", and have five blades or wires. There is another trick to be sure the shells don't stick and tear the whites. It has been scientifically proven that the colder the eggs are, the more prone they are to the shells sticking... SO, I fill a huge mixing bowl with very warm water, only as hot as I can barely keep my hand in it. Leave the raw eggs in the very warm water for 20 minutes to a half hour. If the water is too warm, it will start to very slowly cook the whites up against the shells, and that will make them stick worse. The research I read said that the FASTER you can get the whites up against the shells to cook, the less prone they are sticking. They said to NEVER try to boil eggs directly out of the fridge, and to let them warm up to at least room temperature, but that can take an hour or two. By soaking them in very warm water, that speeds up the warming process to 20 to 30 mins. Also, the very-warm water soaking process gets them warmer than room temp. The warmer they are (without starting to cook them) the better the results, so when you DO put them in the boiling water, as the whites are "pre-warmed" and will much more speedily cook the whites up against the shells.

The real ones use egg white, sugar, and cocoa based mousse. It would be AWESOME to make some of the original style which had chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry mousse inside instead of just chocolate. Hence the Three Musketeers name. Not sure why they stopped making those.

You shouldn't eat ice cream anyway. Too much refined sugar. I already get enough refined sugar from ketchup and salad dressing. No need to pile on top of that with ice cream.

I grew up despising magic shell because I could smell chemicals and I'd get nauseous from it. The best way for my mom to keep me out of the ice cream was to mix magic shell into it and I would not go near it just because of the smell, but I saw this video years ago and bi made the homemade magic shell and it was awesome 😎. I felt like I had been given the gift of a part of my childhood that I had been missing out on. I had forgotten about it and today I watched Jennifer Garner talk about her favorite foods currently and homemade magic shell was one. Instantly brought me back here so I can reclaim this recipe for more childhood delights. Thanks, Emmy, for this treat.

They are also called Divinity cookies; and you can add almost anything for a variety. I’ve added a few different cookies; spicy chai, Hawaiian coconut and pineapple. Over Christmas I added a fine matcha to one batch-crushed freeze died strawberries, caramel kisses-very sweet and worth the trouble!

Hi Emmy! Long time viewer, first-time commenter here! I just wanted to say first of all I just love love LOVE your content. Husband and I are huge fans! Second, your tip about running hardboiled eggs under cold water totally works!! I did that on our eggs tonight and they came out perfectly without any green around the yolk! Thank you for all of your great content over the years. I have always appreciated how open-minded, adventurous, respectful, and informative you are. Keep shining your light into this world!
