I'm always a little jaded about news stories about sexism in the industry when they cross my path but then I see these frank discusions between women working in the industry and I double take. You would think we would be past this, given attitudes in most cosmopolitan cities (LA especially), but directors are still asking for actors to turn up in bikinis. Maybe I'm spoilt because I live where I do and where I have, but it honestly blows my mind that this still happens.

Hedonophobia It’s not really surprising at all... As long as sex sells and businesses need to make profits, bikini auditions will be a thing. The same people calling for sexual liberalization and looking to tear down any sexual taboos, are the same ones that get upset over the sale of sex.

I am a big fan of Emmy. What I like about her is how versatile of an actress she is as it's hard to believe it's the same actress from "Phantom of the Opera" that's in "Shameless." She has a beautiful singing voice and it's a shame because I feel like she is underappreciated. In my opinion, she's one of the most talented, current actresses. You can't fake talent like hers...you either have it or you don't.
