This season blew me away. That scene with Hannah and Jean was so good, Hannah did such an extraordinary job and really did spill her guts out, and Jean expressed so much doing so little.

Jean’s icy cold expression is everything. Emmy desreving

My fave joke was the episode that Jean got Rose to make fun of Hannah’s hands & forehead

It's the best show I've seen on TV this year. Everyone involved should be proud.

The finale, the writing, the acting is a pinnacle for TV history that I wish has more awareness. Two women intertwined, strong, and fragile. Thank you for this show, it’s truly one of the best shows that I’ve watched in my life. (And I grew up glued to the 📺.)

Hacks season 3 is history-making TV writing (and performing, and directing). Makes it worth your while living is this here terrible era on Earth - but if it's with such art to sooth and heal you, it makes it all better. Just wow.

Amazing show and very well written! for me the scene where they were lost in the woods and Debroah started to tell Ava about the worst thing about getting old was so moving!

Vulture, I believe, wrote a piece on Hacks S3 and basically claimed that the show serves better as a drama rather than a comedy. First of all, it offended me that the writer failed to acknowledge of this genre called dramedy that is seeing so many great shows nowadays. Secondly, Hacks has always been about the jokes for me. It's the thing that attracted me to the show in its nascent days when it was yet to blow up. But the drama between Ava and Deborah made me stay and made me a loyal fan. Hacks shouldn't be boxed into a single genre when it's such a colourful show that takes me through all possible emotions.

I respect them sticking to their plans given how good the show is and how great they are as writers, but man..... I can't pretend I'm not disappointed that they're not gonna fuck. I'm a simple person with simple needs.

BUT THEN , IS IT A REAL LOVE STORY BETWEEN DEBORAH & AVA? OR JUST AN ILUSION? I DON'T WANNA CRY

They never addressed the colonoscopy results in season 3, she eluded to a number of times , of running out of time,and needing to take control of her " time", and eluding to be running out of it. She may be In trouble medically in season 4. I'm so scared!!!!! Love you JP and L!!

I was thinking the same. She might get a health scare in S4 , like after a show recording or at home, like Josefina finds her in the bathroom or something. Idk my imagine is just running wild. But at the end of the same, if what they say is true and this is a love story between these characters, I just hope it doesn’t end in death. (For 4 years the showrunners in KE said the same thing and love what happened in the finale). Anyway, I’m rooting for Ava and Deborah and hope the writers don’t let us down and their dynamic in S4 is juicy and funny and filled with flirt.

can anyone recall a good (short) monologue from the show? I'm going to look through each episode on IMDb but it's user submitted so they don't always have them. tia

I'm so pissed off right now, why give two characters so much chemistry and tension just for them not to get together!?!?!? Creators always do this when the characters are two women. It's like dangling a toy in front of a dog and yanking it away, and it's always done to queer women🙄

true. that’s exactly what queerbaiting is for me

I fast forward all of Marcus’ scenes and it makes no difference to the shows story. I’ve no idea why he is included.
@samaxe19984 ай бұрын
I understand what you mean, but I just want to say that I think it’s important to show what kind of people Deborah chooses to involve in her life, and what it’s like to be in her orbit. Notice how different their dynamic becomes when Ava comes into the picture. We know that Marcus gets shoved back because his frustration and distrust of Ava is apparent at the start of the show. Marcus is an example of what can happen to the people Deborah cares about when she has no obligation to meet any of their needs (like DJ, who she tries to maintain a bare minimum for). It also just shows that Ava’s actions this season were integral to the longevity of their relationship, because the risk of her one day becoming a Marcus was not impossible. Even if Ava was closer with Deb than Marcus obviously.
