When I was little, my nonno's wife saw that I had a bruise on my leg. She immediately put some noni juice on a piece of cotton wool and pressed it on the bruise, telling me that the bruise wouldn't be there tomorrow. Although I was skeptical, I went to look at it the next day, and sure enough, the bruise wasn't there anymore. It was a relatively new bruise, too.

But, it turned soft and easy to crush into pulp. I added warm water to the pulp. Stirred . And filtered the pulp to get the juice. It taste like some pre-matured rice wine. You're awesome Emmy! You are one of those KZbinrs who actually do a serious taste test but with more finesse and class. I love it. My mother (may she rest in peace) used to drink Noni juice, both freshly made and store bought during her early stage of her cancer. It did help her for while until she was hospitalized. Anyway thank you for the video and Hafa Adai all the way from the island of Saipan. PS - Do you think there is such a thing as a Noni Pie? Sounds intriguing.

In really sorry to hear if your Mother's passing. I do have a question. Did your Mother ever inform her doctors that she was using this supplement? All my research points to this fruit causing liver damage. I hope your Mother had no ill-effects from this fruit. Take great care and be of good courage. As a minister may I offer you the consolation Christ Jesus gave us when he said at John 5:28 and 29, "Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [his Father Jehovah God's] voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..." John 17:3 "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God [Jehovah], and the one whom you sent, Christ Jesus." Please research this on your own before ingesting.

HA! Loved the ominus music. I have severe RA and use to take noni juice for pain relief. I started with a front loading dose of 4oz a day and then a maintenance dose f 1 oz a day. It was too expensive for me for me to continue with it after I became a single mom. Unfortunate because it was the only thing that had helped, excluding acupuncture, that I have found. It was $50 a bottle at the time and that lasted about 4-5 days when taking the higher dose. Many people use the daily dose to help with immunity and boost health and Polynesians also use it to relieve pain. It tastes vile but I became use to it so it wasn't so bad. Thanks for the great video on how to make it. I tried getting seeds to see if I could grow it but the person who had access to seeds when they travelled didn't come through. Though spending $80+ to make 3 oz of juice doesn't seem as cost productive, I may look into it again now that you have made this video to see if I could get the cost down somehow. I loved how it had no side affects unlike meds I have had to try to take that yeilded fewer or no results. Thanks!

They used to sell Noni juice in grocery stores in the USA. They stopped selling it in 1998 or 1999, when several states sued the company that was selling it because they were making all kinds of claims about it that weren't supported by science.

I never heard that before! I’m surprised they didn’t just make them stop making the claims rather than banning the juice altogether. Bummer. I can’t see myself making my own noni juice, but since I live in California, I’ll bet I can find it somewhere, should the need arise...EDITED: You can still buy in in the US. In face, Amazon sells several varieties! No need to make your own.

@@chrisallen1934 I think I've seen it at 99 Ranch, if you live near one of those. Amazon does definitely sell it too, it's a different brand than what was in the USA in the 90's though. They were making some really incredible (incredibly unbelievable) health claims back then.
@KellyS_77

@@chrisallen1934 It was an individual company that was banned from selling it because they were claiming a lot of medical benefits (cures cancer, cures AIDS, cures everything!) which aside from being unproven, also meant they were marketing it as a DRUG and not as FOOD. I do make it myself it very good. What to do, get the fruit ripe then wash it in clean water and wipe dry after put it in a container and tighten the cover, leave it for 4 to 5 days open it and pall the juice out using striner then cover again and pall juice every 3 days till there is no more juice. Don't forget to store your juice in a clean bottle or what container you choose. It has a cheesy scent. What I noticed after drinking is it makes me sleep so I drink it when I can't sleep. Very healthy juice.

We have lots of these plants at my place! My mother boils the leaves and fruit in a huge pot which lasts us 3 days (keep in fridge and use next day). We drink it as tea and my dad loves it. It has a faint woody taste reminiscent of green beans. This drink can really heal your blisters/wounds. My uncle often goes to the forest for hunting and comes back with blisters that become wounds that heals slowly due to his age. These wounds have healed thanks to this plant which was recommended by his friends! So now my family does it and my dad's psoriatic rash is slowly healing :) [If you hate the pungent taste of Noni, then try boiling it as tea - you still get the medicinal properties]
