Hey Emmy! I have a few anime suggestions that I know you will enjoy: Fullmetal alchemist, yuyu hakusho, Inuyasha, and Hunter x hunter (:
@legendarymudkip20969 жыл бұрын
I suggest, if you're going to watch Fullmetal Alchemist, that you watch the Brotherhood series as it follows the manga more closely and has a more conclusive ending. Just a fair warning, it's a little dark, a little bloody, but full of mystery and suspense. It's one of my all-time favorite series (ie: I've seen it five times at least).

I’m from the Philippines and moved here when I was 3. My mom made Filipino food but when my Lola (grandma) moved here (WA state) for a while she always made Leche Flan. There’s something about the Filipino flan that was soooo good to me and different from other flans. It’s so rich and so amazing. My mom never made it because she said it was too much work. I’d love to see you make it because you explain how to cook things so well!

Congrats on reaching 500K subs and here's to the next 500K. Your channel has rapidly become one of my favorites. I always look forward to your videos and I particularly enjoy the weird little bits you put at the end of them. Since I'm a huge anime geek, I have to leave a couple of recommendations ... Tokyo Godfathers and Millennium Actress. They're not just the two best anime that I've seen, but also two of the best films of any kind that I've seen and Tokyo Godfathers is a Christmas movie, so it's particularly fitting this time of year.

You seem so crafty and fun! Have you tried sewing,crocheting or knitting? I hated knitting in school and never bothered with crocheting but after a brainsurgery four years ago where I couldn´t read or even watch tv my grandma learned me how to crochet and it is now the best thing ever for me. The joy of being able to make something myself is just amazing and all the squishy yarn is a moodbuster! If you want to try I would suggest small and useful things first, if you have a use for it it is easier to continue, so things like dishtowels,coasters or washcloths are the three things I recomend friends to start with. Plus they are ecofriendly since you can just wash them and reuse instead of toss them :)

I always knew that Japanese tradition says itadakimasu before eating but after taking a Japanese class, my teacher told us that it is thanking everyone and everything that went into the food that we are about to eat; from the farmers to the cooks to the animals and the plants. So in some sense, it's very similar to saying grace for Christians except it's not directed to a deity.

I don't know how old your children are, but I'll go ahead and guess they're still young enough to enjoy cartoons. A few anime I recommend watching (with the kids) are: Miyazaki films (make sure to read synopsis or view trailers first; some are a bit gruesome) To make it easier, I'll list select films I personally found very memorable and enlightening below: *Totoro *Kiki's Delivery Service *Spirited Away *Pom Poko I think by far those are the most entertaining for families to watch should you decide to watch any Miyazaki films. Something you might enjoy watching yourself is an anime called Wakako-Zake. It's basically an anime that revolves around a girl who goes around these shops in Japan trying out different foods. If you're worried about not having enough time, then rest assured as on average each episode caps at around 8 minutes. So, if you're looking for something that you can relate to and something you can feel satisfied from watching, I'd definitely start with that. Maybe watch it during work-outs... or when you're feeling crafty and start doing something new. Just a suggestion. Bets Wishes, T.R.G.
