This reminds me of the time I saw Jim in 2007 at the paramount theater is Asbury Park. He was coming to a theater for a Q and A after his movie played. He walked in, sat on the stage without a microphone and answered questions via shoulder shrugs. When a question about what made him attracted to the role of Tony Soprano the microphone was passed up to him and he had a one word answer "money". That was all he literally all he said. When he left he actually walked up the aisle and into the crowd. People swarmed him for photos and autographs, he was cordial with it but was clearly ready to get out of there. The entire thing was so strange and really added to his mystique for me.

I fell in love at 13 with Jennifer and Jonathan Hart. When he says, "tell them somebody loves you and you're getting married" after having "Will You Marry Me ?" Unroll on the bridge in London. What a moment. I will always believe they were truly in love but Stefanie realized how it would look after Natalie died and backed out. Why Jill St John went after him is an interesting question. She went over on February 14 and never left. Natalie died on November 29th. Yet Stefanie still sees both of them as friends. That's not easy to do. That's real love.

@Labyriiint2 жыл бұрын
You act as if it's easy making shows this good. Also there are still many great shows, not as good as The Sopranos but still very good.
@Stefanius0582 жыл бұрын
@@Labyriiint no, nobody is acting like that. Most show creators just take the easy and cash grabby route when making a show. Instead of just sticking to the development of story and characters. It happens alot and only a few shows for instance on Netflix are really good while the fast majority you just dont even want to start.
@Labyriiint2 жыл бұрын
@@Stefanius058 regarding netflix they do produce alot of crap but crap has always been made tbf, i dont even like netflix much but they have made a suprising amount of great shows too so its not all bad. I mean The Sopranos is unique and to expect shows to be as good as that show(or The Wire) is not realistic and maybe with that mindset people can also realise there are still so many great shows to watch these days. Like those shows were groundbreaking because it was not common for drama shows to be that good but now we get tons of great shows every year basically. Better Call Saul is very well made, The Boys is an insanely fun show, Stranger Things is great, i also watched this miniseries called Mare of easttown on HBO a few months ago that really suprised me, Tokyo Vice is great etc. And those are just from recent years, i can mention even more from 2010-2020, overall while not as good as The Sopranos the last decade and from 2020 to now have been so strong with television.

its not that they dont want it, they cant make it.

If you're talking about the 2015-present time frame then you need to watch Better Call Saul, Mr Robot, Bojack Horseman and Succession. Great great shows. Brilliance epitomised. BCS is a visual storytelling treat, the best out there If you want to see a drama and acting masterclass, Succession is the place If you want superior concepts and themes, Bojack Horseman is the stop. Mr Robot is everything.
