In an unfair world make your life into a work of art.

The world is not a fair place and we are certainly not all equal, but we always have the power to make something of our own life, despite all the inequality and unfairness and we can always add something of value to the world.

I was bullied and abused as a child, struggled with drug addiction, many chronic health problems, most all my family has passed away from su1c1de, my 2 children are disabled, and I recently got diagnosed with Autism, which explains many of my struggles. I refuse to not love this life. I will always keep my heart open to others and try my best to help. I am not good nor bad, I just am. Art, the beauty of this world, and people like this lovely person keep me going. Wisdom is priceless and can only come from a lived life. To many, I don't deserve to exist, but I will until my time on this planet is over, and I return to it. Beautiful words in this wonderful video. Thank you ❤

Your story is very similar to mine. Bullied and abused, chronic health problems, lost loved ones to su1c1d3, late diagnosed autism. My own mother doesn't think I deserve to exist. She thinks I'm a selfish, disgusting monster. My entire life, the world has kicked me down and told me I was a freak that did not deserved to be loved. Every time I've ever experienced love, it was under the condition I masked my true self in perpetuity. That I remained quiet, polite, and convenient at every hour of every day. I have lived a life of pain and loneliness and once considered ending it all to escape the cycle. Nowadays, I stand up to the cruelty of nature and humanity, spit in its face, and tell them they can't stop me from being happy. I dance DAILY. I sing, I kick my feet, giggle, flap my hands. I create art that shows the beauty and joys of the world I've had the pleasure of experiencing alongside the ones I crave the most. I only have this one life and I refuse to waste another second wallowing in misery when I could use that time to smile and create beautiful things.

I try all the time. Just yesterday a man's card was declined in front of me for some soup and chicken patties. Rich looking people aggravated behind me and a broken man in front of me. I only had 80 dollars to last two weeks but I stopped him as he was leaving the store and brought him back in to buy his purchase. He said thankyou so much. I told him I don't have much but happy to help. The rich people behind didn't say a word and didn't even react but to be in more disgust that I held up the line longer. I don't feel sorry for that man who wanted a meal. I feel sorry for those rich people who have lost something much more special. Compassion and love.

I was in my 20's in New York when I came across a man in rags with newspaper binding his feet in the cold, staring through a mcDonalds window at all the people eating and ignoring him. I went in an bought him 2 of everything. He could barely respond as I handed him the two bags, he was not able to. I have since realized people are on a path of knowledge gained through experience. You cant know something only mentally, you must feel it to know it. Ive realized people are the way they are because of choices made and everyone is expanding. Im saying communism is dark. The freedom to learn and choose until you know good and know your own power is crucial. Im not saying I dont help when asked. Im saying we are each responsible for our evolvment in the physical experience. Freebies are for the handicapped. And for gift giving. Not to handicap a person perfectly capable of taking their journey and being responsible for their choices. The maudlin weeping of triggered emotional and unhealed people, often women, not understanding why why why, is not a source of wisdom. Its a reason to know the power of our beliefs.

I'm a cat owner too and I think the same but I'm also highly aware that this is impossible as a cat owner. The cat food is always from mass market meat. Those animals aren't allowed to live a good life. And yet, we need the food for our kitties to have a good life. Cats can't be vegan, even if the most fundamentalist vegans want it to be so. Even if I became fully vegan, I would still buy so much meat for my two house tigers. And yet, cats are what makes my life a tiny bit less bad. So I will probably own cats for the rest of my life. It shouldn't if we'd had proper direction. Our minds are warped by media even before we attend school; an institution once designed to process unquestioning industrial commodity, now supplanted by political activists with terrifying goals in mind. Once, we were wise enough to learn from our elders. We would congregate with them along with our children. We used to learn. Now we simply comply.

I'm 22 & have been struggling with social media/phone addiction since I was 15. I quit social media (except youtube) in March 2021 after realising my average screen time daily was 14 hours (across Twitter, Insta, TikTok & Snapchat). Although it's improved my life greatly, it's harmed my social life. All my friends look at me weirdly & treat me like an alien, anytime I'm with them they're on their phones most of the time while I prefer people watching or looking around. It's horrible how drowned society has become in the digital world, I'd give anything to live back in the 70s/80s/90s & embrace a more simple life. I really have to fight temptation to go back to that digital world, being there just makes me bitter, but as you said I can overcome them & build a better life for myself. Thank you for this video ❤

@@princess_zulica Thank you so much for your kindness. 🙇 Living with autism is one of those un-cope-with-able things and led me into the deepest depression of my life the past 4 years after diagnosis, which I'm slowly coming out of after processing my entire life again through that newfound awareness about myself. I'm 40, and it's taken me this long to unravel some beliefs and decouple some of that to get back to living life more freely, more connected with better boundaries, more as ME! I found a lot of my unhappiness was other people's thoughts and beliefs about me, also noticed how politics and religion divide families. I get to choose how I show up in the world, the only thing I have some influence over, so that's what led me out- daily routine of self care, exercise, focus on nutrition, art, basically watering my garden, showing up for myself. 🌞

This is what we need, those that can articulate the self so well, and share with others what they understand of the world. The more stories we tell, and hear and explore and listen too. The more we shall listen, and understand one another. Fairness comes from within, it is your spirit - shaped by character, - conscience, fellowship, and intuition. (Yes, I did google it and take the first answer). Now I am lost, anyway - I fancied sharing these thoughts on this video because I have resonated with it so much. We need more Emmy van Deurzens! Hello! KZbin just recommended this video to me. Im an artist and i've just finished painting for the day, and laid down to have a rest and watch some videos. I have some chronic illnesses and Carpal tunnel, so I can only make art a few hours a week these days. Sometimes I get frustrated and discouraged and don't make anything for months. You reminded me that it's okay and to keep going, even if it's slower than before. Thank you! ❤

It’s been so freeing to come to terms with this fact as I’ve walked along my healing path. It’s been so fascinating to me how you can hear the truth a million times from people who want to hurt you with it, and you’ll never believe it for a second. When you hear it once from someone who simply wants to give you the chance to know it, you believe it almost instantly. The part that’s hardest to emotionally accept, is that you have to accept that the first group will always tell themselves they’re the second, and you should love them for trying anyway.

The thought of equality and class don't exist. All of us have the same energy within us, exert it the same, and radiate it the same; those who don't have a lot of material things are spared the misery that comes from wealth...their energy is spent maintaining that wealth rather than evolving, growing, and advancing themselves. Those without a lot of material things can focus on the things that truly matter. What a gift!!!

I respect what you shared - thank you. My “however” is these days (the last 33+ yrs) I have let go of words such as “fair” or “unfair”, as the latter leads to resentments. I deal with life on life’s terms or on God’s term and live in the world of gratitude. I cannot afford a resentment thru thinking it is all “fair or unfair”…. By having gratitude from the first 2 gifts of the day - my eyesight…. I live one day at a time. For ME that works and when it doesn’t, I know to delve into my heart & spirit. I lost my notebook that one rainy afternoon, there are notes that I wrote that is included in the requirements, it was devastating and one night later, this popped up. I certainly agree the world is still unfair and unequal and all of the things I experience, that past, it's already been done, but it still gets me because I still bereaved on it(well only in the notebook part) like someone I gave all that heart and passion died because of my forgetfulness. I panicked, overreacted, worried that thats it in my life but thanks be to god, my mom, knows how to calm me down. And again of that statement, you popped up, you're in my KZbin's recommended videos and wow, you made me think that life is art, create, experiment, destroy, reinvent, perfected and preserved, and the cycle goes on. And to add that, you made think that my life is kind of a dramatic renaissance art because I think that is, like some Soap Opera, god, I said too much and I just wanna say thank you, just thank you for all of it.
