I think we all wish our joints would smoke like that. it doesn't sound like architects architects... but I do like the sound. Though I do wish we had gotten some actual screaming, or at the very least a "BLEGH" also I love how heavy and low this song sounds... but it's only in either C or C#, and I was almost thinking it was lower, closer to A. Guess it's just the off what... fuck I can't even think right now. like... what's it called when you... fuck if only I didn't learn solo by ear -_- whatever it's like part C part E, idk. the 0-3-2 chord. somewhere between F, E, and C. I don't music properly fight me. diminished c? someone help me XD

I love a lot of this band's music, but this song really dissappointed me. It feels like two completely different ideas slapped together with absolutely no cohesion. The intro riff is really cool and could have built into a heavy song, but the tone of the verses and chorus completely undermine this and pull me right out of the music. The breakdown, though a bit simple for Architects, could have worked if the song was heavier throughout, or even if it had a proper build up, but there's just no intensity leading up to it. As you suggested, I think a guitar solo where the breakdown was would have fit much better with the song. The lyrics also seem like a step down to me, and the backing vocals in the chorus drive me insane. I'm sure the whole album won't sound like this, but I'm not personally looking forward to it anymore.

I won’t lie, Architects is one of my favorite bands and this one caught me way off guard but I do still dig it. I’m definitely interested to see where they go with the next new stuff!
