I saw them twice live. The second time, Howard comes out sipping on some tea and lets the crowd know that his throat is shot, but that he's gonna give it his all. As the set goes on, he's singing less and less and you can tell his throat is just giving up on him. End of Heartache comes up and everyone can tell that he's got nothing left in the tank. So the crowd sings the entire song. That was far and away the best concert I've been to because of that moment. Didn't matter that it was in a school gym somewhere that was way too big for the amount of people in there. You could tell he wanted to put on a show for the fans who had come, and when he couldn't anymore the crowd picked up the slack. That to me was always what going to shows was about. The music didn't matter, it was the people around you.

@@Loopholez91 Jesse Leach is a good singer. Yeah, he's not Howard, but he doesn't try to be. Very few singers can do what Howard can do as well as he can. Strongly disagree with your last comment. They write much better music with Jesse IMO: obviously nothing that's caught on like My Curse did, but far more consistent. Their first album is almost universally regarded one of the GOATs of Metalcore, and their last few albums have performed substantially better than anything they did before.
@Loopholez91 Жыл бұрын
@@leerobbo92 you’re wrong everybody knows it. Jesse Leach can not sing at all. Could never sing well. And The End of Heartache Album is without a doubt the best Album they made. And guess what?! That was Howard’s doing. Jesse Leach is terrible. Killswitch Engage has literally died since Jesse took back over and Howard left. Nobody really cares to listen to Jesse sing when they can just listen to Howard’s vocals. I’d rather not feel like there’s a cockroach in my ear digging away. When I can listen to Howard’s deep amazing voice that can put people to sleep.
