Emo's Not Dead Cruise 2022

We went on the world's very first Emo's Not Dead Cruise 2022, hosted by Emo King Matt Cutshall. You may have seen some of his KZbin videos that started out with the "Felt emo might delete" titles. The cruise was a music festival-like charter to Ensenada, Mexico put on by Sixthman with the Norwegian cruise liner. Our ship was called the Jewel.
The END Cruise hosted the following bands: Dashboard Confessional, Hawthorne Heights, New Found Glory, Plain White T's, Underoath, Silverstein, Cartel, Emery, Thursday, Casadee Pope, William Ryan Key of Yellowcard and The Emo Band. It also was the live debut of Matt Cutshall's band Your Broken Hero.
This was our first cruise so we were a little overwhelmed at first, but we caught on quickly and had a great time seeing as many live shows as we possibly could from some of our favorite bands and some we had never heard before but are now new fans of. There were live full sets, acoustic sets, karaoke nights with The Emo Band, DJ Dance Parties (one of which was hosted by surprise guest DJ Ryan Cabrera!) There were meet and greets, a swag swap, I Hate My Family Feud with Underoath, Flip Cup with the Plain White T's, and Dirty Bingo. We bought some merch, got matching tattoos on ship, consumed way too much coffee and ice cream, were gifted some really cool stuff by the END team and had a blast! We can't wait to see the lineup for 2024!
