The EMOJO Caddy Trike is a stable and heavy duty electric trike that features a front suspension fork, suspension seat post, capable and comfortable fat tires, and a front and rear basket. Powered by a Bafang fat-tire specific front hub motor, reliable single speed mechanical gearing, and stopped with 3 160mm rotor mechanical disc brakes with motor inhibitors. Features a very high capacity 48v 15ah battery for 720 watt hours, has a USB charging port on the battery as well. Large and unwieldy, 20mph top speed can be dangerous, some basic components like 6 magnet Candice sensor, and some annoyances like 9 modes of pedal assist.

At last a trike that doesn't look like a mobility vehicle. I'm an old short lady and love my ebike, but am excited by this, could put the dog in the back. I live in South West France in a very hilly region and we're all trying to be more green here. Love my ebike for everyday use, but this would be so practical in our narrow lanes and little towns for shopping.

I bought the Emojo tike on line. It came in two boxes without instructions. Almost immediately Amazon sent an email asking how I liked the trike, my response was to complain about no instructions. The vendor replied the same with the instructions and a video. I spent a week putting it together all while in contact with the vendor. I am happy with mine. I use it to walk my dog using the throttle only.

I just got this about a month ago. Mine does have the back rest. I have what I call a perpetual smile when I am on it. I average about 15.5 miles per hour. I told a neighbor today that it is not fast but it is faithful.
@riasomers642
@riasomers642 2 жыл бұрын
I get that same perpetual smile tooling on my inexpensive ebike. I'm looking @ strikes because in a couple yrs will be getting one. It's good to know not just the specs but how to drive one. My wheels are 14" because the 24" one made me feel insecure being so high up. I used to ride a 26" one but height is an issue for me @ 64.

@@riasomers642, I understand your concern. I am pretty tall myself and like being up high. The front tire on mine is 24" and the 2 rear tires are 20" tall. All of them are 4" wide. What is good about the seat is that it is adjustable.
@michaelsadams524

It is toward the back so it is not too high.And the seat can be lowered almost to the battery if desired. I should see if they make it with smaller tires. I'll let you know.

Yo fellas!! Greetings from Michigan ! Cort & Sam together is like Billy the Kid & Hulk Hogan of the Ebike world ! - I always went to Sam’s shop in Fullerton for the 411 and premium details and service -I’m in Detroit now - was thinking of getting one of these trikes so that I don’t have to worry about the cost and headache of owning a car out here -need to be able to ride steady in the snow so wanted to scope the trike action -much luv to the original ebike ambassadors !

When we started selling trikes they had SLA BATTERY and were priced at $899 a lot has changed there’s definitely a need for electric trikes an the E-Mojo Caddy with its fat tires can do more than the competition it has the ability to go where others can’t and quite honestly it’s just a darn fun to ride if anyone would like to test ride it we’re gonna have a big open house on August 24th 2019 Emojo will be here I also like that they are local from Irvine ca.

Sam keeping it real as usual. I appreciate it, I was on an etrike living in a trailer park at one point, and it is huge not to have to pay for a car all year round. Personally, I would like to see more etrikes with solar charging options given the added surface area.

@Animal Mother Well you have to consider where oil is going to be in 40 years. Electricity is fairly abundant (at least in ways to generate it). On top of that ways to store electricity show no signs of stopping. Oil on the other hand.... let's just say it would take a lot of corn to have enough oil if the worlds reserves and wells ran dry.

Pero puede comprar un triciclo para adultos por $ 300 y luego colocar una rueda de kit de conversión de 500w en la parte delantera. Esos kits cuestan alrededor de $ 150. I was surprised how fast the ecotric hammer bike is. I had no idea I have one leg and I took off I was at the corner before I knew it and there was a van coming and I couldn't stop fast enough it's a different ride than a regular bike. I've been riding a bike since I was 7 years old I'm 58 now I wouldn't advise somebody that doesn't know how to ride a bike pretty good to take off without practicing. And turning on a fat tire is totally different but I love my e-bike. I put blue lights on the front two lights on the back a rack a seatpost because it was too high with the spring and I could not reach the ground and and now I don't have enough money for a helmet that would be the next thing. I could tie my Cannondale wagon and carry 6 bags of groceries. People look at you funny riding down the road with one leg on a two-wheel bike. I wish I had a three wheel bike for shopping. I don't understand why they did not put a bottom in the back you would have to put one in the front things will fall right through

A lot of electric bicycles and tricycles like this one are super sturdy but have a really low carrying weight rating for some reason. 55 lbs seems way lower than what this thing can actually haul in the back; I would guess several hundred. Without suspension, the limiting factor for weight has to be the tires, right? I mean, what else is there that could fail on there?
@ElectricBikeReview
@ElectricBikeReview 5 жыл бұрын
Hey Tony, I'd say that the spokes are actually the first point of vulnerability with weight. I hear big people frequently telling me that they get loose spokes or even broken ones. I do agree that the weight estimates for the Caddy Trike seem a bit low.

I just got one of these and you guys are scaring the crap out of me with all your talk of breaking hips and running over feet. Geez!!! Anyways, I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not used to the wideness of the back part of the bike but some turns I’ve went into the bike did not want to turn. I literally had to break and then correct the turn. Not sure if the problem is with me not over-compensating for the wideness of the rear end. I took it out two days ago and it gave my thighs a great work-out though. Still recovering

Hey Tracey! Perhaps you could work with someone who solders to have a switch wired in... but that would also become vulnerable over time because of how long the wires might be and how the connection could rust or get pulled apart. It sounds like a bummer reaching under the seat... but I'd probably just leave it alone or maybe sell the trike and buy one with a different on/off design :/

The components on this bike are exactly the same as the ecotric. T ecotric snow Beach rocket bike is exactly the same frame and almost everything as the radrover but the Red Rover cost more and comes with a rack I think in a light that is better but if you're poor like me you can and the parts later like I did. I'm hoping to get an extra battery so I can go 60 miles I might ecotric Hammer instead of 30 and I can go camping with my Cannondale wagon tied to the rack. I never thought about turning on a three-wheel I like going 15 or 20 well mine can go 22 or faster it's supposedly a 1000 watt and probably a 750. I have been studying e-bikes for a while I think I got a really good deal on the ecotric hammer it is really heavy what is super heavy duty the frame is great the only have problem I have is the front end is a little loose where the bearings go and I can't fit a regular spacer I'm going to have to make one or something if you pull up on the handlebars and it moves not like the old handlebars that you can take me down with a screw on
