You should've set yourself up with a new challenge to work on next week, so that you can enjoy yourself, and when you eventually get to play Tracer and get her ult, it's like a cherry ontop of an already pleasant day. Focusing on that Tracer reminds me of me when I was a kid, trying to 100% Donkey Kong and Banjo & Kazooie on the N64. I would focus only on the current objective, and wouldn't have any fun.
