It’s interesting that target focusing is so ingrained in gm players that they are still calling targets even when in this game mode it actually hurts them. Like they are calling targets on the supports and dps even tho they have the smallest hit boxes, so with shared health pools it’s always better to shoot the tank unless they have a damage mitigating ability up. Or how they call a character is low and to focus them even tho everyone has the same health lmao.

I noticed the shields some tanks get are actually going over the team HP as well, which makes them slightly harder to kill. Probably best to bully the largest hitbox DPS instead.

Zen has a really wide hitbox though, its much easier to shoot zen than it is to shoot pretty much anyone else really

This was a hell of a showcase for just how much damage and healing there is in the game right now. Both team have dropped so low only to survive by just how much healing there is. Then both teams have also been killed so quicly, mainly through the way certain ults work with the mode but also with how much damage you can so quickly deal if the team focuses one target.

@@inversion9697i think they mean that healing multiple targets multiplies the healing by amount of allies hit, the same for damage. Emp was so powerful because the damage was multiplied by 5, resulting in an instant kill. Brig was so good because her healing was essentially multiplied by three at all times. Health was the only change, but the aoe damage/healing essentially got massively increased as well.

@kevinsemidey2516 2x Spawn heals, both support spam healing each other. Ana nade for boosted heals when low, bap lamp for invincibility. Then send out a soldier with heal pad, and hog or mauga for self heals. And a reaper to lifesteal or a sombra to hack health pack spam. They wouldn't die, but I dunno if they could kill the other team 2 or 3v5

They really weren’t taking advantage of the concept. The bap was constantly looking around for people who need healing. Just shoot whoever is grouped up and you’d never die.

This is really cool and it raises a lot of questions for me that were probably answered if I paid more attention. If one player is purple, would their whole team be purple? Same question with Kiriko cleanse. With Lucio beat, will you get more overhealth if you beat multiple teammates instead of just one? Same with Lucio's beat, would AOE healing increase teams healing based on how many are being healed? Imagine valking mercy healing everybody at once, would this be 4x healing effectively? Could two healers sit in spawn pocketing each other to get 4 different instances of healing (2x healer healing healer, 2x spawn room healing)? This feels like it would make the tank and dps invincible. Not a question, but it seems like Echo's Duplicate sees a massive buff here since it cannot die (unless team wipe, of course). In which case, I suspect Echo wouldn't die, only her duplicate. This also means she always has full length duplications, so it shouldn't be too hard to get 2 or 3 ults in one duplication, and if you copy a sigma or sombra (since they do % damage) from their ultis, it seems to me like Echo ult is a super easy team wipe. I will edit this post if I come up with anymore brain candy. More brain candy: I wish we could have seen Winston, because I am curious how powerful the cleave damage would be if you can get a few enemies in your zappy. Curious exactly how Tracer recall works in this.

I think the best strat would be to have a Rein solo contesting while all of the other four players go AoE healing supports, like Bap and Moira. Then, they just stand in a bunch outside of spawn and heal a group so they build more ultimate charge.

i feel like when you pick mauga you should look to solo ult ppl because if the barrier around has an insane amount of hp, it'll minimise the damage you take and maximise the damage you deal. it also blocks healing from outside. I think target focusing the tank (with a bigger hitbox) would let you deal mmore damage because its an easier target to hit. then again i am a stupid gold player so theres probably alot of factors that i dont know about.

I really hope emongg sees this. I have some changes i think would be fun to watch. First is tank passive greatly buffed, but only applies when above 50% hp. I also think a dps role passive of gaining ult charge on elim or final blow would be interesting.

I wish it was possible to actually just mash the different heros health toghether, including how much is armor and stuff, so if you had like 3 tanks you could have loooooadss of health but if you ran all 200 hp ppl then youd have the base 1000 health

For survivability, it seems like the best team comp would be anyone with self-heal or lifesteal... so, like, Hog or Mauga / Reaper / Soldier (or Mei) / Moira / Baptiste. In fact, part of me is curious what happens to an ice-blocked Mei when her team gets killed. Does the ice block cancel, or does she somehow act like an Immortality Field? For pure damage, it'd probably DVA or Sigma / Reaper* / Sombra / Zen / Mercy... or instead of Reaper, maybe Widowmaker? If she gets a damage boost and headshots someone with an Orb of Discord, that'd be something between 450-500 damage, so instead of "one shot, one kill", it'd be _"two shots, _*_five_*_ kills."_

I wonder how strong mercy would be for this. Healing the entire time on a select target plus self healing to herself for missing hp would farm ult quick. Mercy’s ult connecting to all 4 teammates giving 60 hps per teammate along with healing to herself has to be close to 250+ healing per second making her ult the best for team fights

I think Roadhog, Bastion, Mei, Zen, Bap would be the best team. Offense hook someone and Bastion with trap and wall, defense you have Mei invincible ice block, Bap lamp, Roadhog healing, Zen orb healing everyone. You could maybe change the Zen to Ana in some situations. The plus healing on Hog might be much better with his heal Edit: Sigma and Sombra are also good for very offense because of their percent taken with ults. Dva and Mei could combo ults or with Junk’s trap because of her 1000 damage bomb

What would happen with Cassidy's ult? Would it charge faster because its the same health pool or normal speed but only need to be charged a 5th of the way if all 5 enemies are in view? And why target focus other than pointing out the least survivable enemy, they all share the same health pool. What about Winston's ult or Ram's ult since both heal and Ram dealing damage to all 5 enemies at the same time would probably deal lots of damage.

The right strat is to deal as much dmg as possible, by using aoe dmg and countering with aoe heals... So focus tank which is the biggest target

Idk what a McCree is, but in terms of high noon, it'll take like 10 full seconds to actually get a high noon pick, during that entire time you're serving your whole team's HP pool on a silver platter.

Seems kind of frustrating. You could be playing really well, not peeking corners, falling back when HP is low, but one of your overzealous or greedy teammates goes in when they shouldn't, and your whole team gets wiped because of it. I get it's supposed to be "just for fun" but it seems like it would be frustrating to get punished for another player's bad choices.

Why don't they just have both supports run somewhere far away and just pump each other? Seriously, because they cant miss each other, they can heal everyone by doing this, and the enemy team cant stop it unless they find them, and even then they still have the tank and two other DPS to punish uncontested due to the overwhelming healing. Then you pick doomist who cant die, you get, bastion, and symmetra, and you just rush and melt them, and they cant kill you, you just have too much health. Maybe zarya instead for the insane damage and damage reduction. Just ana and bap can easily sustain the whole team.
