i'm late, and idk how much this really applies to what happened at around 8:30, but i will say a great general tip for support players (specifically ana/zen/bap or anything that likes range) that I think I remember hearing from ML7, is that whenever you reach overtime you want to make the opposing team choose between contesting the cart or going for you. If you sit on the cart you let them do both, but if you sit pretty far back you can put them in a bind where they need to touch but also need to stop you from doing whatever you want

I'm certain that he could've used 2 more Nanos if he's just not that conservative on saving one. Nano usage ain't just for "Oh I think this is a sure win", it's sometimes used to CREATE a favorable scenario out of an uncertain one.

Yeah, people tend to hard focus the shinier enemy that deals more damage give nano to a hero with High mobility like Lucio, genji, Tracer, soldier and the enemy will have a hard timing prioritizing a target, ok one hand, those supports are a real pain in the, but that nano'ed DPS really hurts

Amen! The game modes were, and kinda still are, not intuitive and largely ignored and/or unknown by lower rank players. Even just a little slide show during the pick phase and respawn that explained the mode (and not to stagger!) would pay dividends at getting people on the same page.

If a Winton and a Sombra is diving you overl and over again, just swap to Brig and you will notice wonders. With Ana you just gave them a perfect target to kill in the backline.

I feel like OP could improve their reaction times on abilties too, not just ults. I would go into quick play and play a few games focusing on keeping both zen orbs active on someone at all times, then a few games throwing ana nades and nanos on cooldown (within reason). I find it easier to start aggro and then reign your ability usage in if you're getting punished, rather than start passive and never have a chance to make plays.

They couldve had 2 nanos by the time the game ended. They were holding it until overwatch 3

Dude sitting on nano for 5 minutes: "Why is my team getting rolled?" Would have probably had 3 more nanos if they used it aggressively. The game would have most likely been extended with nano usage. At the very least, they definitely had 2 more if the nanos made no difference, which is unlikely. I've seen this happen a lot in these silver/gold players. The ult is precious, and they must wait until JUST the right moment to use it. They have to make sure that it will help secure 2-3 elims before it's worth using. (Apparently getting dove by Winston is not a "right time" to use the ult either. I dunno.) The problem is if the other team is using ults aggressively and they "only" secure 1 elim in a team fight, by the time this perfect opportunity comes up (if it ever does) the enemy team will have already farmed up another ult, which puts your team in the negative. Those 1-2 elim ults add up to winning more team fights and ultimately the game.

Also gotta be aware of the enemy team comp. Should have known they had a Sombra, and wasting the sleep dart by randomly shooting it into the enemy team guaranteed your death at the end.

With dps having their new passive of healing reduction and supports having their passive what if tanks had a damage reduction passive that grants a certain percent of damage taken reduced after a certain amount of hits taken. Maybe it would make it might help out some tanks to feel like a tank again

On PC, F is the default. But if you have rebound your interact key it will be whatever you rebound it to. Remember that there is only a short period of time where it works. If you're in spawn when it's available you'll see it pop up on your screen roughly where the "press to change heroes" prompt appears. Though it's a little smaller.
