Thanks so much for a fantastic intro to this. I have been super curious if this would meet my demands and I learned in fact it meets some demands I have for other projects (non time lapse) with the giga mode you mentioned for panaromas. Great work and serious props man, you are an inspiration!

Can you explain your DIY slider in more detail? I have an ST4,3, additional motor, and 80/20 so I'm trying to figure out when I need to add to motorize the 'track'. A linear bearing + ? Is there a racking, or how is it actually driven?

Mine is belt driven. The motor is on the carriage and the belt attaches to either end of the 8020

Not sure unfortunatly. I Haven't used a cineshooter yet. Hopefully some day :)
