Dee, I use both fresh and purchased dry spices. If I lived in the village, I would have a nice size spice garden where all my spices will be fresh. You call sweet pepper, and we call bell pepper in the states. It comes in red, orange and yellow color as well. Maybe when you build you will have your own spice garden to grow the spices you've enjoyed in your travels. #auntie2REAL4MOST
