Our journey to having Rio seemed to flow quite smoothly but when it came to the legal process of becoming his Dads we were faced with many hurdles. We hope some day this all be easier.

My brother went through an awful process with the courts. After his marriage broke down the best place for his two kids was with him sadly. Proving it was awful. All worked out in the end fr them all though. Congratulations dads 🎉

Guys the whole court process is so hard. I’m a social worker who has worked with children in care system and plan of adoption. It’s just as hard for us as social workers. The frustration is beyond acceptable at times. But well done. You have the court order. Now enjoy your life as a family. ❤️

Bit late as I’ve just watched this very emotional blog . My sons fighting for his daughter he doesn’t want to take her just wants 50-50 and it’s hell ( the joy of getting a idiot woman pregnant) I can’t even begin to think why u loves when through. I found someone to donate sperm to my friend when the twins were born she put father unknown simple . Even though her partner isn’t on the birth cert it’s was simple. So why the hell can’t it be simple for dads ? I understand the legal but it tots need changing big time . Hope you don’t have this with Rebel ❤❤x ty for sharing x
