Luz and Eda's confrontation is a complete parallel to Luz and her mum at the start. She feels like once again the people closest to her don't understand her and they just want to send her away. Obviously, this was never the case but for Luz or for most children in this position it would feel like this, its a very understandable response. Even if the adults in the situation have the best interests at heart.

Yeah and plus I felt like King relating to Steve actually make sense. I mean while there was subtle character development for King in season 1, I felt like me and others just saw him as the “Cute and funny animal like side character”, like it really wasn’t until season 2 where King gets a more easy to notice character arc with him finding out who he is, is when people started to taken him a bit seriously. So yeah King and Steve both having more to them besides being funny makes sense now seeing them bond and interact.

Think the Collector was simply focused on his own thoughts on how the plan with Belos is closing in to its execution but then after finally hearing King, he’s initially caught off guard but quickly figures out he’s not alone & tries to put on an act in a attempt to charm King into helping release him early. Only the connection ends up breaking up (for now) before either one can ID the other.

This episode for me was top tier, right next to Hollow Mind actually, that's how good I think it is. I loved the bond between Luz and Eda, and the emotional roller-coaster this was. I get Eda's side more than Luz, she just wants to protect her kids, she literally calls them "her kids" and it's so sweet. I loved Raine's appearance and how they're just a little goofball with the name CATS. I loved how Darius and Raine interacted, I thought it was so funny. But for the Collector, maybe they just don't want to be alone?? And I have no idea what the ball he was trapped in, what was that?

a hopeful episode (with a hint of angst sprinkled in) that ties a lot of things together. everyone's together now, plans can take shape, and luz is finally getting her own palisman! i won't bother guessing what palisman she'll make - i'll be content with pretty much any creature she gets. we got confirmation that the collector's in the inbetween realm, and king is able to access that realm and communicate with them whenever he's asleep. reckon this'll be explored in-depth next episode, and we'll probably learn more about the collector's intentions. steve fans (including me) won today. he's awesome. eber and raine are the honorary "let's annoy darius" duo. also, glad to hear i wasn't the only one who was thinking of a beast ball when we were shown the ball thing that the collector's inside. he's an ultra beast confirmed (funny since ultra beasts are also connected to dimensional stuff)

Alright I got to many theories, Theory one: the collector was cursed by kings dad (aka the boiling ilis) before he died. Because the collector even said " trapped within these bones" I believe he was talking about how the titan trap/cursed him to be alone for all eternity within the titan's own bones, just like his unhatched son will be when he's gone. Theory 2: the in-between is "within these bones" of the titan. The same place where the collector was stuck in. Now that being said, I truly believe that the collector and the voice you in the in-between are two different entities. (Because why would the titan allow the collector have control of something so powerful, makes no sense) Theory 3: the voice you hear in the in-between is the titan himself helping luz get to where she needs to go. Because it would make sense that the titan would be in his own bones if he was constantly watching the collector without the collector knowing Theory 4: the reason why the collector needs a titan to set him free is because king's dad used his own magic to trap the collector (before the titan final breath because ✨ the drama✨) and only a titan can reverse the curse/trap because titans are way more powerful than a normal witch, so it would make sense that belos would use a draining spell to get all the magic from the witches to brake that curse/trap the collector is in. Also can we talk about the fact king lay down in a small puddle of "water" ( I don't think it's titan blood) and is in the same position the boiling ilis is in then Steve coming out of left field with the witch origami and placing it on king snout. ( I REALLY hope that's not foreshadowing ANYTHING) alright I think I'm done here for now. I woke up at 1 am to watch this episode then fell back to sleep, only to wake up at 5 am and see this video so, yeah that's all I can think of with my tired self right now. Y'all can do what ever with this information.( Also Steve is the real MVP here, and I am living for the Steve recognition like I love Steve since day one, I'm so happy for him.)

Alright I'm back after a realization and my prove my theories are right ( not all of them, just some of them) it was Infront of our faces the whole time. So remember kings nesting room, and you see the sky light symbol and king carves it in his collar, and if you see all of the designs from that episode. The titan uses different symbols when it comes to magic, now look at the portal at edge of the world. The collector use a completely different design. So now we are looking at the collector trapped in a ball, that designs looks similar to kings collector carving. And everything where unhatched king. The ball has cool and bright colors, blue and gold at this point is a sign that titan magic is being used. Like the collector wouldn't trap himself in a ball when he wants to get out. No, I believe they showed us that the titan really did trap the collector and titan magic in action. it reminds me back to kings "Palace" here you can see all the titan designs and all the symbols they show all around the place itself. It looks like titan magic can be registered in to an area and can contain anything if titans wanted to. We don't know the full existent to titan magic but we are getting glimpse of it. (Also the last episode is king tides...none of us are safe)

I have a potential theory for "The Owl House," could Luz (and humans in general) possibly be something of an amplifier for magic cast by witches? The reason I bring this up is because some of the most impressive feats (outside of Eda's) were performed with Luz either being directly involved or in close proximity to the spell being cast. It might just be the main character effect mixed with how luz is neurodivergent and therefore thinks in unconventional and creative ways, which makes her magic more powerful.
