Just for the sake of precision: Fminor is a flat key, therefore C# had to be labeled Db as well as A#minor---->Bbminor
@chusssMusic2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right, specially if you are a piano player :) but most guitarists don't sweat it over the difference between C# and Db.

Where or when do you use the F Aeolian. You say to use F Harmonic minor when C sharp is being played. But I am not sure when to use the F Aeolian. Thanks
@chusssMusic8 ай бұрын
The chord progression has four chords: Fm C# A#m C. You can play the harmonic minor with the chord C and the Aeolian with the other 3 chords. Hope this helps. I will post an updated improvisation guide to this backing track soon.
@leonidaskakakis22268 ай бұрын
@@chusssMusicIt does help. Just to make sure, I play the Aeolian with the other 3 chords or I can switch to the F minor Pentatonic with the other 3 Chords. Is that correct?

OK. Im lost. F natural minor, f harmonic minor, melodic minor, how many minors are there and which one suits the song "Carnival of rust" by Poets of fall, which is in Fminor ?
@chusssMusic4 жыл бұрын
F natural minor is in harmony with all the chords here but the last chord you could switch to F Harmonic minor it is only one note different, just raise the 7th note of F Natural minor a half step.

Have a good time, but if you like my advice, if you are a guitar player maybe you can try a more common key like A minor or E minor instead of F minor. here is a link kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6mYXmCtedR_gM0

Thank you for posting this, the sound is nice. The scale is written with the incorrect notes - F minor comes from Db major so there are no sharps in it. Please correct this for the sake of people learning. The correct notes are: F G Ab Bb C Db Eb F
@chusssMusic2 жыл бұрын
I understand, specially if you are a piano player.. but it is just a function with the neck diagrams software that makes it easier this way.

...so if you combine all those variations of scale (natural, harmonic, an blues you get 9 notes in the octave). I dont know why but in other video I could easily jam to it and in this one it just doesnt sound that good, no matter wchih variation I try.
@lxathu7 жыл бұрын
Is there some reason behind that you indicate the sharp enharmonics of the flat notes that actually the key consists of? No offence, I do respect your work (hence my subscription) - I just wanna know when there's something to notice and keep it in mind.
@chusssMusic7 жыл бұрын
Well, first thanks for your concern. I have received same comment before a couple of times and I really worked on it but, sadly the application I am using for scale charts does not allow me to change this. Basic music theory tells in F minor you have flat 3,6 and 7 notes but It's impossible to change this in the guitar application I am using. Others use a different application but it costs at least 75$ and gives full control. If I have this money in the future I promise you to fix this :) for now I will pin this comment to the top of this page so this is clear for all beginners. I hope you enjoy the other tracks on my channel

F minor has no sharps, It's the relative minor of Ab major, it has 4 flats: Bb, Eb, Ab, Db. Sad to say C# it's not equal to Db in this case. Please do teach correct things. F natural minor scale is: F G Ab Bb C Db Eb F harmonic minor scale is: F G Ab Bb C Db E
@1TreukFlyyy4 жыл бұрын
Why can we play F harmonic minor over Db ? Db doesn't have an E natural in it.
