We believe that starting from Adam, all prophets and messengers were muslims. Muslim means the one who submits to the creator. Islam root word is submission, and peace via this submission. We don’t distinguish among the messengers of God, and hold them all high in regard.

Think about arab Christians, jews and polytheist of 7 centuries who did not need translation that were waiting for the last messenger, when they heard the Quran, they spilit onto two groups, those that humbled themselves and Fellowed the messenger and those who debated with messenger about his preceeded counterparts. When they realized that indeed this is the last messenger that they were waiting for that issa(Jesus) mentioned, they walked away. On the day of judgment, they will face issa, and Jesus will defend himself against their falsehood.
