Kevin and Rachel sorry for your loss. Unfortunately a lot of farmers are having the same issue here in South Central Kansas. We've had 17 days of over 100 degrees. A lot of the farmers here have lost several of their animals to heat stroke. They've all provided the same things you have provided for your animals. You both gone above and beyond what many others have done and sometimes the animals just have a issue and nothing can be done to change the outcome and that's unfortunate. Thank you both for your honesty and openness when filming by showing the good and bad. Hopefully things will get better with the weather soon. Much Love from our family to your family 💞

I lost a Siberian Husky to Heat Stroke 1 summer when I lived in the Desert, it happened in August. The heat stroke her through the Pads on her Paws and from walking on Blacktop. The said to get a cold water hose her and call him back in an hour(he was in surgery). I bought her in to him just over an hour later, she got a full Liter of Saline Solution and $250.00 Vet.Bill. Heat stroke affects the Liver, Kidneys or both. She was on Liver pills at $75.00 for 30 pills until December 31st when she passed......! =( Now I Live up in the Mountains...!

I've never been to Oklahoma, but I imagine with triple digit heat and the humidity, it is miserable!! I live in California where the humidity doesn't get as high as it does in Oklahoma and the other eastern states and deep south states. It would take some major acclimation for me if I ever moved back east as beautiful as it is back there.

One Spring we rescued 5 hens from our neighbors, they got cute baby chicks at TSC and lost interest, well that summer we lost one from the heat!😢 It was so sad!
