The resort is non-smoking in public areas, however, you can smoke on the balcony of your room.

when did you go and was there seaweed on the beach

The seaweed issues are more on the East Coast of the Dominican Republic. This hotel is on the North Coast. As you can see from the Drone footage, their no seaweed on the beach coast at all. This video was taken in mid-March 2022
