Great review but minor correction... Only the front baffle on the passive airmotive speakers is HDF... The other panels are MDF

I know you guys loved this for theater use, did you peg it as a solid music contender? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on two of these or possibly A Rythmik FVX12.

Yeah we felt its was also good for music, unfortunately we haven't had the chance to review the Rythmik sub but I hear they are good.😀

@@JPWinters I really enjoy them for double duty. I put the baffle plugs in for music and it performs like an excellent sealed subwoofer. Plugs come out for video games and home theater.

I have dual RSL Speedwoofers 10s’ on order with the transmitter for my office. I have dual SVS PB-3000s and SVS-PB-4000s for family room and basement, and dual Hsu ULS-MK2s for my master bedroom. I know one of these would fill my office space well but what are your thoughts on one of these versus dual RSL Speedwoofer 10s? Also I had a SB-2000 Pro in my office but gave it to my best friend to add to his system.

Thanks for watching! That's quite a collection of subwoofers haha!! It's hard to say without knowing the exact characteristics of the office space and what kind of content you'll be using with the system. We've always believed that two subs are better than one, but of course the RS11 comes in at a completely different price bracket so our best guess would be to simply try both in your room and see which one you like better. We really like both the Speedwoofer 10S and this subwoofer, so we can at least say that you're making the right choice with either of them. Hope this helps :)

@@TwoGuyzTech well I went back in forth. Ordered the RSL Speedwoofers, cancelled those; ordered the Paradigm X12, cancelled those; decided to go with my comfortability subs, Dual SVS SB-3000s. I had those before I traded up and I know how they sound and I have a good feel foe them. They will feel the room adequately, plus hit hard when needed. Plus having experienced other vendors return policies compared to SVS, that put me over. Thanks again for your great reviews.

Great video, thanks for the review. If you had a choice would you go with dual SB-3000 or dual RS11,s for mostly movies. These are the two that if Im trying to decide on buying.

@@sayerseely3195 I did I guess....I had both and returned both. I ended up getting a pair Monolith THX 13's. I like how ported subs sounds. I have a very large space to feel (in a way its a unfinished basement) so I need more than what the SB-3000 or the RS11 could do. My personal opinion would be the RS11, best of both worlds and to me it's better engineered. To me SVS is losing ground with everyone else making great subwoofers now. Hope that helps.

Great video. I already have Emotiva L/C/R (T2+ and C2+) and I am looking to upgrade my single Velodyne 15" sub to a pair of either the SVS PB2000s or a pair of the Emotivas.

I love my Power Sound Audio V1812 for just a few hundred more dollars than this one. The thing literally shakes my house, my wife hates it when I crank it up as the living room is right below my dedicated space haha.
