On a sidenote, have you heard of PinePhone Pro? It's a strictly Linux phone that has replaceable batteries - the back comes off and you can replace the battery, sim, or sdcard but it also has physical switches that allow you to turn off the camera, wifi, etc.

I have that stuff also. But I added a couple of smaller bat. Packs, one bat. The size of 2 packs of cigarettes. A small solar panel, and 2 flashlights, one is solar and the other is push crank light. I do need to get a baofang radio.

baofangs are great lil tools but need to be setup properly or you wnt talk much with them. getting license wont hurt either ;) .

This depends on the frequencies involved and how much overall energy there is to dissipate but just use a fuckton of metal to attenuate the signal and connect to a ground when you can - grounding to your vehicle's ground isn't a terrible play here
