Once again you have made my afternoon…I am not much of a meat eater but it does not matter. Seeing someone who is far away from home able to re connect with his home foods is a heart warmer. You are getting braver with every episode. Bravo! A curiosity question: do you celebrate Thanksgiving, our much loved American holiday? If so, do you cook a turkey or a.big feast of Brazilian dishes? Or just watch football and enjoy having the day off…

Hi Lianne, thank you for your nice comment! We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Brazil, however I make use of the holiday to cook something more elaborate that takes more time. I’ve also been invited a few times to spend thanksgiving with American friends and their families, but the more common thing is inviting other immigrants who would be at home and then maybe do a potluck or something :)
