Studying abroad for a month this summer in Chile. Honestly, I have been telling all of my friends that I am taking a one month trip to eat. I can't wait to eat empanadas, they are one of my favorite things. Great video!

+OneikaTraveller Thanks! Atacama Desert but not Uyuni unfortunately. We're a bit pressed for time with my parents so we're heading further south but I was lucky enough to visit in 2010 :) Hopefully I can do this with Audrey sometime soon :)

In the region of Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia we do have a very similar looking snack like the empanadas, over here it is called epok epok, do check it out, the fillings is made up of variants like ... potatoes, minced beef, chicken, egg and bean sprouts, one of the most popular snack in the malay archipelago region.
