This really captures the essence of the Harkonnens according to the way they're portrayed in the games with their Spartan appreciation for strength and power and refusal to waste their time with anything else - the only house strong enough to save humanity by crushing the Guild and the Tleilaxu with overwhelming force. They're totally different in the book - also very little regard for human life aside from a person's usefulness, but otherwise constantly resorting to trickery, bribery, and blackmail to compensate for their weakness in battle. Feyd Rautha couldn't have even defeated a regular Atreides soldier in the arena without dagger switching and trigger word tricks. In the games, however, their unapologizing insistence that strength is the only thing that matters makes them seem kind of noble and wise in a way. The Atreides actually might not have been so implacably hostile toward them if they were more like that in the book.

Emperor was so ahead of its time, perfectly designed and downright beautiful in terms of development. The story was good, the factions were good, the 3d animation was ahead of its time by miles. This game had no faults, what so ever.

I love the games the most and the mini series because House Harkonnen has everything red and black. This girl could pass for the future Baroness in appearance even though she’s most likely from something entirely different.

It's not that hard to figure out SlayerDeathBathory. Not only is this epic music with an awesome picture to look at, this image goes great with the song itself. I feel that Chris made a superb choice with matching the audio to an ideal visualization. While we see a dominance of red (hence House Harkonnen's brutality) with a touch of blue (mood conveyed at 2:52), the pose of the girl looks like a great potential fighting stance and/or allegiance gesture to the battlefield commander and/or Baron.

It is Westwoods, final legacy after all! other than Red alert 1, #2 wasn't too good, but was a nice game. But i didn't even know Dune 2000 had and RTS successor, i was so happy when i found out, i literally thought i was chasing after a theory game or one that was cancelled! xD
