Well, being in prison kind of puts a damper on progress. I would tend to disagree with your statement. He played the Nightside anniversary shows perfectly. I think if he hadn't had the setback he would have made an everlasting impression on the music. And Trym might still be playing in Enslaved... what an alternate reality that would be.

Trym, this is great. I'm a massive fan from back in the day, but barely aware of the current reunion. Who's on bass and keys? And, more importantly, will there be a new album?!

this reunion is essentially Zyklon (Trym on drums, Secthdamon on bass, Samoth on rhythm) with Ihsahn doing both vocals and lead guitars instead. or you can say it's the good old Emperor with Secthdamon on bass :). on keys there's some guy called Einar (i think), i dunno who he is. there's no new album nor there ever will be. they disbanded for a reason and it still stays (and will most probably suck anyway, look what's Ihsahn doing now).

gerardo araya Look closely, his right stick goes under the cymbal just after the double-bass/toms roll and he performs only two strokes instead of scripted three (you can also hear it). It's the most common "unforced error" of drummers who put their cymbals too close to toms to perform faster switches, mirroring Dave Lombardo and of course Trym.
