I have to congratulate you on the perfect format you chose for your batreps. I find that I can't watch a lot of other channels out there because their videos are just way too long, but your format of one hour is perfect! You don't show too many dice throws so that we don't grow bored of just watching dices, yet you keep enough of them for us to feel the suspense and tension. Keep the good work!

Grim Resolve means DAs don't lose more then one model to failed morale tests. You can safely fish for rerolls and only ever have to worry about losing one guy; you didn't need to remove two assault marines.

Just a note- for each roll of "1" on the kustom mega kannon the uniy suffers a mortal wound. You'd be best served rolling for each weapon due to that as well. Cheers.

At 30:03 you talk about the boys that jumped not being able to declare a charge because they advanced in the movement phase. It's my understanding that you indeed could have charged because the Da Jump rule states "This unit counts as having MOVED for the purposes of any rules". Therefore, the fact you advanced is irrelevant.

No don't do that keep the camera mobile invest in a motion stabilization gimbal or steady cam mount it will take that shake out. Stationary camera channels are boring to watch to far removed from the game. Your minis are painted too a pretty high level so use that it helps make the game more immersive.

Haha fear not for I too have seen batreps with stationary cameras. I've simply forgotten to switch on the automatic stabiliser on the camera 🙂 will remember to next time

Probably been asked before, but this is a gamermat.eu mat right? And have you then put your own custom 40k buildings on it, and then scattered loose rocks around them? Is this much of a pain in the arse on clean up? And can you let us know what you used for that loose rock stuff?

Heya mate. Yep the mat and terrain is all from gamemat.eu in this battle. The scattered stones were bought from the aquarium section at the local pet store. And the green lichen is from armypainter. Very easy to clean up! Just take the terrain and lichen off then lift up each side of the gamemat and the rocks all funnel to the middle, then you just tip them into their container. 😀👌

did you not give your gibsmasha the free attack squig? it gives you two additional attacks with it. hit on 2 stg4 -1 one damage.

FFS, Ben the Orks look good... really, really, nasty Goff boy GOOD. Hey, how big is the Gibsmasher in terms of model mm height? I do have one problem, I'm what I have termed a closet "Emophobe," a curious affliction concerning Rogue Trader era players. I like my Warbosses with, "Elmet's on their ed's, like all Orks/Goff's. Boyz going round wid bald ed's or Squigg top knots makes dem look like, "Emo's." Emo's, well theyz da Boyz you find hiding out at night by da dropz mugging Grotz and giving each uvva earrings and ear' Squiggs." Nevertheless, pushing aside my inner Goff, RT/2nd Edition inspired "Storm Boy," Boss Knob, persona. These boys as said, do look glorious and the table once again makes for a fantastic battle.
