I haven't played in several months but I was a good enough player that I soloed the game with each boss with all difficulty settings set to the highest level. I will go back to this game in the future after they finish their fixes and I am finished with a few other games. Besides the tips and advise in this video, here are some extra tips: 1. Explore. Open the neighborhood maps as fast as you can. Use taxis to bounce around to new areas you discover. You are looking for minor gangsters and loot boxes. 2. Protect all minor factions. That is steady income that will get you an early payroll. You will also want to sell whiskey to your little friends on a subscription basis. You can sell whiskey in bulk but you will make 25% more if they are buying it by a weekly subscription. It is tempting to steal rackets from minor factions but in the long run, it is much better to help them stay alive and well. 3. Pause often when you are exploring. You can zoom in through the fog of war and if you look closely, you will find the loot boxes you are looking for. The real deal loot boxes are gold colored and are guarded by 6 thugs. All NPC gangs are looking for those gold boxes and can take them without killing the 6 guards. 4. When you start to gather a large supply of weapons from loot boxes, trade with the bosses. If your inventory is large enough, you can even let them get the better deal in those early trades. That will raise their relationship with you and you can use your new "friendship" to get them to eventually trade you their signature weapon. These are all borderline exploits because when you watch the official Empire of Sin videos they don't play like this at all. But always remember the Big Tip: Whiskey is king. You make your money from breweries . . Large Breweries selling whiskey.

My tip is to take over existing rackets. You don't have to spend a penny and you start earning. Grab a few rackets and then truce it out afterwards

Always a good strategy when progressing. However later on you have to decide which rackets are losing the most money and make a choice

If u have Daniel Jackson then equip Josaphine Doody to ur safehouse u will get 40% earnings on all casinos in that city. So get ur first strait and 4 breweries then the rest casinos and u will have every synergy if there is enough open buildings in that city. Whisky and Daniel Jackson with josaphine doody is by far the best moneymaking ive found

@@danielmiller4354 you have to achieve 100 notoriety to assign a lieutenant, and that player will be planted in the safe house permanently unless you unassign them. So it requires *some* grinding, and sacrifices a crew member.

Used the disguise feature to get really good weapons the other bosses collected. Really gave my gangsters that I hired a huge advantage.

i don't, i start immediately with large breweries and actually sell the brewery i get at the beginning because it's small and i want the 6.4 for a large brewery in the straight rather than the 1.6 for a small...

I got an insane Al Capone game. Got decent early crates but the black market had government body armor so Capone was basically invincible since I poured everything into buying the golden tommy

The one thing that there is no info on is if Bulletproof achievement is affected by attacks to your properties, not sure if they count as your crew.

I have to say since 1.04 update I thought I could go in as Daniel J. Like I did before and Breeze through the game. I've died over four different times - now keep in mind this is early game but still Things are so balanced now! ( in terms of combat )

I was referring to as Daniel I used to be able to play the game and Breeze through it without dying. Now since 1.04 I've died so many times. - if we play the game the way you play then yes it's a little tougher Because you attack the guards with the crates. The way you do it you get to level up everything and find armor etc But if you just start taking over the big Racket and small Rockets early game + missions dude it is tough ! Not just with Daniel I've tried playing with the Asian guy And Salazar. .... Its tough Also partner I love your content, thanks for all you do

This is the conclusion I reached 1.5 playthroughs in. Just started playing recently so I'm still pretty new and only know the recent patch. Playing casino happy as Jackson and it's working better than. My original run ( your videos likely helped especially treasure hunting early game). Doing a Ragan's run next and I'm definitely cooperating with the lesser gangs as opposed to murdering them like before... Oops 😅

Hey bro please read this comment I know you have a lot of comments but I have some ideas for you.Can you please make a video suggesting things that can improve the game? Like adding banks so we can rob them.They also need to add the option to rob enemy's rackets.They could also add factories as a legitimate business to launder money and some opportunities to assassinate enemy bosses while they are alone or out of their safehouse cause they could be chilling in one of their rackets sometimes as well

Hey I know this a little off topic and you explained it a little bit in the video but I don’t really understand the synergy of buildings with the poker “hands” system and was wondering if you could go more in depth (I know it’s a shallow mechanic so you can’t really go to far in depth)

Yeah so it's not consistent at all. It's better then it was. But it can be a pain. But you need three of a kind. So 3 speakeasys. But not those 3 can't be used for a 2 pair and so on 🖖

You can no longer sell sill as whisky or others to minor factions, but u can with major factions, and minor faction does not have unlimited cash anymore

You can't. And it depends on how much they like you too. If you have a good relationship they will give you a little more. The minor faction though offer you money. So base value offer them 1 and your see what it's worth

I have a question now due to the new update, what is the point? What do you do now since the update changed everything? You can't start fights with nobody it won't let you attack, I want to take out the card sharks leader because she has a hired gun I want(had this person before) this is my second run I didn't finish the first because I was close but when they did the update it changed everything & boxed me in & I would have to attack Goldie who was the one I had a truce with & liked, she had the supply lines, I couldn't attack her anyway even if I wanted to, before you could attack thugs, now if they are not on your turf you can't attack them, they ruined this game if you ask me

I took most of my rackets through killing some of the bosses, so I got a pretty cheap empire. The missions are well worth it, considering how easy most of them are.

So if you have 3 of a kind say 3 brothels. They can't then be used for your 2 pair... 🖖

Get a hotel then select Info on the hotel so you can see which rackets are being use for a “poker hand”. When a racket is being used for one poker hand, it cannot be use for another. So if you were planning for a particular poker hand but it ended up being use for another you have to start again with new rackets. For example Three of a kind and Five of a kind. You build 3 brothels it unlocks Three of a kind but you cannot use this 3 brothels for Five of a kind so you need to build another 5 brothels for Five of a kind.

@@TheCriticallyClueless no worries, just wanted it to be said, since players may not realize they can get their weekly revenue up through standing orders, since individual sales don't get it up and it needs to be increased to satisfy some quest requirements and it's easier to calculate how many gangsters you can hire with a steady bottomline... in a 13 boss, 10 neighbourhood game you can get upwards of 15k revenue a week on standing orders alone and sell your extra whiskey barrels as needed for expansion...

@@TheCriticallyClueless also, it should be noted that standing orders remain even if a war is declared and a boss is your enemy, this means it is paramount to get those standing orders early so you hold on to them until that faction is destroyed...

Can u explain how Jackson is good I know u swear by him but His ability is kinda bad imo because the range is so bad u rarely can get more than 2 people. I usually either play Goldie maybe and duck, they pretty much always get 3 kills every cast

Jackson unloads his secondary firearm, making him an amazing early game boss as you explore. He excels at the ambush since his placement is key.

Kev g is right. Dmj is an early game powerhouse. Leaving you to never care to thinking about how your playing. People normally group up and he just walks in takes them out. You pair this with kill chain ⛓ his last perk and he can single handedly clear a safehouse. In a few bosses the differences are small. But it's not just me. Dmj is considered the most OP boss in the game 🖖

Wait, you can open crates and these thugs are actually protecting them and not just hanging around? Wtf, I'm 20+ hours into the game and didn't even know about that. This game's tutorial is awful. Also, how do you level up your henchmen? Or you just need to pick up better ones? I have 6 people in my crew, everyone with vests and good weapons and I own the neighborhood. But when I try to attack safehouse of a guy who owns just this safehouse (Donovan in my case) there is like literal army with super armor and super sniping skills who shoot me from the other end of the map. That's frustrating

Yeah you can lvl them within a weapon and they get better and get more perks. But you really need to upgrade your gangsters as you go 🖖
