I’m Ghanaian. And I started watching basketball last year. One thing I noticed is how the state of New York doesn’t joke when it comes to their own. One is the Madison Square Garden. It’s always been my dream to come to New York someday and watch the Knicks play, and visit the Statue of Liberty 🗽 and the Empire State Building. Visting NYC was a dream of mine since a kid. We just didn't have the money to travel like that. Years went by and I would even dream of being in the city without ever visiting it. I knew it was my high self calling for the city. So covid happened and like many I decided I want to use my covid time to take a break from work. I told myself what the hell am I going to do for 10 days at home?. My mind was yelling NYC NYC. I looked up tickets and hotels and booked my trip. I wasn't going to wait for anyone so went by myself. the next day I was landing. in Newark. I was able to see the skyline. Emotions got the best of me. I will Never forget the feeling of riding in the taxi going thru the. Lincoln tunnel. the first building I saw was the New Yorker building. This was in October of 2021. Today November 2022 I. have been in the city 5 times since then. Its everything I knew it would be and more. Please book your trip I promise you, you will not regret it.

I’m just an insignificant person in this world. Born in the humble Philippines and raised in the small country of New Zealand. I’ve lived a quiet life.
