I always try to flank enemy and charge with melee as fast as possible. Frontal battle is just so horrible massacre. I think in this battle it was done on purpose so it looks great when 2 big armies shoot each other devastating shots.Nice vid bud!

Very good video. A valiant fight, but you should have stayed on that hill and pounded him with your cannons. Good job though, I thought you had it for a while there.

I noticed that your cannons were firing during hand to hand combat, at least I thought that was your artillery, can artillery hit your own men in this game? I think that's how it worked in Rome TW. Again, thanks for posting. I'm going to have to buy a new computer, if only so that I can play this game.

next time calvary chrage at an infantry line, you might want to form a square. Squares kick calveries but! good playing....

I agree that you shouldn't have bayonet charged his cavalry. Cavalry have a large advantage in a melee fight, and the French cavalry hadn't even begun to charge yet. Still, continue to fight for the Great Elector!

awesome battle mate! great infantry fighting but they had too many cavalry and your troops were tired and in small numbers... you had no chance with these and your artillery maybe is effective against that light cavalry but there still was too many of them and a too small distance... and the hill did fuck all in the end... but i must say that in commanding the infantry you PWN!

Yeah, the French player seemed really passive. There was no sight of cavalry until after footmen got crushed :P

whew! that'a a relief i hope there are a lots of us out there (ppl with sound issues) P.S. game patches don get their way to my country after being released :( only Warcraft III got patches cause of "DotA" shit is so unfair

@deepenhancer man if youre not sure if this is an easy game then trust me... go on very hard and it is VERY HARD and go on easy and its just easy! and with the tutorials youll get it then just keep playing and you get used to it and you will love it!

SAD mine doesn't have sound effects i can hear only the drums. anyone know why? and what do I do? i have intel core duo 9800gt and 2024 ram but no friggin sound! all the other modern games run fine Rise of the Argonauts, Rainbow Six 2 etc.

Bad tactics! You lost your cavalry due to a lame charge, through the woods. He didn't use his cavalry to wipe out your artillery. (why??) None of you used flanking fire. Grenadiers should throw granates that's what they're for. The charge was to late. Shape up!
