Hey, looks like im a little late to the party judging on views but congrats on the channel, ive been in the shop a few times recently moved out of town tho. Great video and good points. That being said im a hard supporter of team mech mod, instant ramp, best cloud & flavor and high durability, over drip? Dropped it? Fell in the dish sink? Who cares dry it off throw some new cotton in it and swap your battery and you're good to go. As far as saftey goes i absolutely love my limitless sleeve mod ive had a battery run away and blow in the tube while it was in my car. The tube is fine and i still use it everyday quality mechs are just as safe as regulated mods. As far as portability on the go goes they also win for that in my opinion, i drive for a living that mech gets beat and still works just as well as the day i got it throw a few drips in it when you want a pull no expensive poor quality replaceable coils to burn out no glass to break just flat out performance keep it simple stupid design and maximum durability. 100% recomend it to any serious vaper who wants more out of their device than any microchip will ever offer you.

Guys need help here. I’m vaping on a rogue usa tube mech mod. Phobia Rda and fused clapton with 0.07 ohms. I noticed it warms pretty quickly after 5-7 puffs. So I give 5-10 seconds in between puffs just to loose some heat. Is it safe? Thanks in advance

Incorrect. Vent holes absolutely matter. Literally the sole purpose of having vent holes are for.. when a battery VENTS aka shorts out. Mechanical Mods that do not have good ventilation are the ones at risk of exploding during misuse. Maybe our next video will explain this in detail ;)

@@mortyerkinsuhmdhongsoff8987 just a bit of vape knowledge for you. Super subohm is classified as any ohm resistance between .04 and .07. No one does those anymore. Subohm (on a mech) is classified as anything between .08 and .17. This is the more common range. Hope this helps!

Personally, I prefer mechanical mods only because they are virtually impossible to break. Ive gone through atleast 12 different mods in the last 3 years, every single one broke within 6 months EXCEPT my mechanical mod. Sure, it hits poorly, but its great as a backup for when you brick your other mods. I really had high hopes for the gene chip though. The hits i got were some of the best I have ever had, it fires soooo quickly and doesnt continue to heat up erratically. It gets to the temp you want FAST and keeps it there, making for really smooth hits. The problem is that it'll glitch out and brick itself after about 3 months of regular use.

JustQinn Theres a big difference between hitting hard and hitting well. If youve used the gene chip youll see what i mean. It hits the desired temp A LOT faster and then holds the temp exactly where its supposed to be. It makes for much better hits than you can get with a mech mod that simply hits hard and continues to get hotter and hotter the longer you drag.

Well I have had my drag for 8 months and it’s been through hell and it keeps ticking works great and yes the gene chip is a awesome fast firing chip but we love our mechs nothing and I mean nothing hits like them, then again we use parallel and series mechs and are not huge into tubes only because of battery life!

(and yes I have both mech and box) I dont think max amount of heat is always good, it should be adequate and mech isnt always good for that. I always have to worry about pins on my attys, cleaning contacts, discharging, not putting the battery before screwing an atty, and a thousand more things for what?

Well I was considering the pulse device as an upgrade and I know ohms law and such, but I was more looking for an opinion on this particular mod before I bought it. However, over the lapsed time of my post and your reply I have purchased the geekvape gbox 200w regulated squonk mod and radar rda for the same price that the pulse combo kit sells for. A bit more bulky in size and the screen is pretty much useless in direct sunlight but just a better overall fit for what I was looking for.

Mech is the way to go. I got both and i have tanks and drip tips too. Nothing pipes harder then a mech. Mech are cheaper to because these big wigs put out shittt pre made coils to take ur money. Build ur own and keep ur money! That's why us drippers have more set ups then tanks and more flavors because we dont run to the store to spend 8 bucks ever 2 3 days. Deadass

Pre-made coils have nothing to do with what kind of mod you are using. You can chose to install RDA , RTA or any Subohm atomizer tanks you wish on any 510 threat regulated mod. You can really tell people who use mech mods don't know their subject too well... lol

well i used to own a tobacco shop and tbh you do really become a professional when owning one. Being open 7 days a week i was basically lving and breathing tobacco products. Because i selled tobacco products i had to be a part of a trade union and multiple other instances that sent me magazines every week full of information. Whenever there was a new product, a manager of the company of that product would come in advance and teach us all about the product, the taste, the use etc. So imho you do actually become a very knowledgeable expert when operating a shop. If these guys had a vape shop for the last 3 years they are definitely pro's and know the ins and outs for sure

Never charge your batteries through the port, you could charge them unequally, also regulated mods can still vent batteries. True mechanical mods “direct contact with the battery/batteries, switch and atomizer creating one continuous circuit without wires or regulation” should only be used by experienced vapors, builders and those who understands ohms law. Define professional vapor, is it someone who vapes for a living like a You Tube personality? or someone who’s been vaping for years before it was a thing? or maybe it’s someone who is knowledgeable about all aspects of vaping?

Furthermore, at a .05 ohm build. With a fully charged battery at 4.2 volts you need a battery that can pulse 84 amps! For 350 watts lolol. Not possible? Idk a single battery that can do that. And I wouldn't even wanna vape that high. Even .1 ohms @ 4.2V needs 42A to out out 174.6W. with a pretty dead battery @ 3.55V still needs 35.5A = 126W those high amp drain batteries usually sacrifice battery life cuz they have much smaller capacity(mAh). Not worth it. Regulated mods have come a long way. Vaping in general have made leaps and bounds in the last couple years. I haven't heard a vape exploding in 3+ years. Welcome to the future. Good-bye medivial times of vaping.

Mechs are totally safe. If you've got the knowhow to build the right coils and run a safe battery, you don't need a safety chip. Don't rely on the device to keep you safe, much like on guns, if you're not safe enough to use it without a safety you probably shouldn't have it at all

I'm sorry, but what? You get a bigger cloud? Let's think about it. 0.1 ohm, 4.2 v = 42 amps. Found a 21700 max discharge 40A batter (safe cont. 30A). That's the highest I was able to find. Why the fuck would you go lower then 0.1 ohm? Do you want your fucking vape to explode? Because that's what's gonna happen if you have less then 0.15 ohm in that one battery tube. You want bigger clouds? There are 300W mods out there...
