Boom and Fang is underrated. I use him all the time. Why? Mega Minion is very strong, hits insanely hard and the reflect damage is a game changer. I do have him at second limit break and 25 emblems however.

@@nigel3455 😆 I knew I would get some flak for hating on B&F. It's really just with the amount of other far stronger MM summoners available he has too much competition. I think as an attacking hero he has good staying power and as you say his c attack and the minion hit can whittle you down over time but going by facing him many times on defenses he seems not to be a game changer on his own there. @McNaultyYT he is one of those heroes that looks pretty lame on paper but in actual use is actually decent. I have had battles in which he was the only hero I had left and he came back and won it for me. Sometimes even up against three enemy heroes.

Hi McNulty! Thanks for another great video. I always find your analysis the most useful and entertaining. I'm f2p and I finally have 20 Souls. I'm struggling between blossom, luna, and frond. I'd really appreciate your advice. I like Blossom as a strong red healer and dispeller. My strongest healer I use the most is non-constume blue Ariel. (I don't even have toon Vivica). I like Luna because of the Mana reducing Moonbeam. I still struggle against Lady of the Lake and that function of Mana reduction is really appealing. In terms of Mana control, I use the red cupido all the time, and will later work on the purple quintus costume with mindless attack, though I'm not a fan of his slow speed. I also like the damage dealing of frond and the fact that he is fast and targets boosted health. I don't have any super powerful destruction heroes. I have enough Ascension materials and emblems, so that is not a concern. My question is more around prioritization, and who makes more sense to choose now given that it takes me time to level up Heroes. For context, my strongest purples are 2LB Ludwig, followed by shacklebolt. I am currently working on leveling the purple Goblin Darkfeather as well. For green, my strongest now is 2 LB Guan Yu, and for leveling projects, I am currently working on leveling Pip, and I have Chloris waiting as the second green project, and possibly Mother North and Alberich after that as revivers. If I were to choose frond, for instance, should I move frond to the top of the list and have Pip and Chloris waiting even longer to work on them? For my play style, I don't tend to run mono teams or color stack much except for titans, since I always feel like the board never gives me enough of the color I've stacked. Like when you gave me advice in the past about Cupido (thanks again!), I want to choose heroes that will last in usefulness. I'm still relying on Ludwig from one of the early soul exchanges. Blossom is tempting at only 10 souls and I have no competing red projects, but I also don't want to miss an opportunity if Luna or Frond are better game changers for my roster, the way Ludwig and Cupido were, since I do have 20 souls available finally. Any advice on which of the 3 to choose in my situation would be greatly appreciated. I keep bouncing around between them in my head. Thanks so much for your help!

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to take the time to respond properly. So ...with your roster as you have laid it out I think luna wouldn't add a huge amount to the already strong Dark heroes you have and I would focus on maxing and 2LB Dark Feather as he is a great Tank, Titan Hero and Attacking hero too so very versatile. On Blossom, she is the best value pick and I do think you need another strong 5 star healer other than Ariel & Chloris so she would be a good pick if 10 was all you could spare and save you some souls for the next one.... but... If you have the mats and heroes to spare, even though your Nature heroes are super strong, if Guan Yu is costumed then you might not need Frond too but if he isn't I would go for Frond as a fast speed power hitter to go next to Guan Yu's defense down and then have Pip to clean up and Chloris to keep everyone alive. I really like that team ad a 4'1 setup 👌 👍 so yeah in conclusion if you don't mind spending 20 frond will serve you well, maybe not as game changing as some of the others have been but he works very well with the heroes you have maxed. If you want value and a hero ull use as a support for your attack teams for many months and years to come. Then Blossom 🌸 😉 hope that helps and good luck with your pick 👍 🍻

Totally fine unless you have already taken them past 3/70 if you have i wouldn't feed them just cause you have already invested the mats and if you do grab a costume 80% of the work is already done.

I need more holy heroes and I have plenty of good and excellent dark heroes, but it had to be Luna for me. I hate having to come up against her in raids and I don't think that I would get her any other way without spending a lot of money and parting with a lot of gems.

Ahh Sassy.., we meet again 😅 looks like your Green and purple heroes are pretty stacked already 💜 💚 I like both Luna and Frond, kinda depends on your play style. If you like it fast and hard Fronds your Guy but if you wanna take your time..(Sorry I am really not sure where I'm going with this 😅) Luna and DF together will be a nasty, death by 1000 cuts type of combo. I'd probably take a dark team and flank ludwig with both give you all the time you need plus she's a pretty good tank. Erlang is a good hitter but the stats are slightly dated. You will need to 2LB if you go for him. If you have an opera hero that gives dance to the opposition you can trigger erlangs secondary damage. Christine daee is best for this but also super rare. Raul the red 4 star works but he's the wrong colour and kinda squishy. Hopefully that helps a little, I wouldn't go for Xavier ;?)

Short answer would be yes. I have the same as above minus Hathor and I'll likely be choosing Blossom 🌸 from SE. Dispell is a hugely important skill in the right element fire is lacking dispellers and her heal is more % than any of your others. If you have more souls then heroes like Luna or Frond will be more fun but as far as cost vs value Blossom is top.

Took me a while ti test this lol but the answer is yes, the opera heroes that give dance for the opponents can still trigger the effect for Erlang i used Von Rothbart and it worked. Christine Daee would probably be the best on colour but even the red 4 star Raul will work 😉 also a hero that gives a scaling atk down ailment should work

Thanks Manntje sorry I am not sure how to answer 😅 seems like you have a good team but u probably don't need heimdall and viv. If you have the Toon stick with Viv as ur healer and dispeller and look for a green hitter or just another hitter to get your damage up. Hope that helps 🙏

Jett, Luna and Frond are game-changers in any match. Those guys are worth the exchange. The rest are way too inferior to Goblins, Gargoyles and the Lovecraftian heroes to be worth so many heroes. Best never to trade 2 or more HOTM heroes for any of those aside from these 3

Shame you can only pick one, I was about to do a war crime haha 😂 and send all my useless level 80 heroes and some 3 70 to get Luna, what a shame.

I have Sobek and Aradia on the same team and they are devastating together (especially if Aradia fires first) when She drops health and Sobek bypasses everything and hits like a truck! I have taken out entire teams before, and if he doesn't kill everyone Aradia's DoT will finish them off!

Both Jett and Blossom are Great choises at 10. Amethyst would be my choise at 15 souls and the one i would choose if there weren't Luna!!! I believe atleast 50% of the 20 souls pic would be luna... Sos for the late reply. Oni is the better hero imo but it would be cheaper to grab Krampus and the costume later on, with the costume his stats are better. Maybe it will free you up to grab another hero from the soul exchange 🤔 sorry it's not a clear cut answer but at least u know my thoughts 😅😅

I do like the new video background, well done. I do have a complaint, though, one i have made before. Team power means nothing except if you want to brag with the "highest" team power. It does nothing for the hero itself, which, in my opinion, is stupid. The only thing that affects the hero's performance is their attack/defense and health. Agree to disagree, unfortunately, does not work here since the so-called hero power actually does not impact the hero in any way. Of the 10 soul heroes, Blossom is the best. The 15 soul tier is disappointing. Amethyst i got when she was launched and I still use her but she is falling behind, with her stats, and her fiends, while strong, just don't do enough anymore. Ferdinand is a strong support hero, not a healer in the true sense. Camilla not bad but as you know there are quite a few counters to overhealing. Luna is still a b...h, but there are also counters to what she does.

Team power is a proxy for attack, defense, and health. Your complaint suggests there are Heroes with high team power and low attack, defense, and health (and vice versa). If those Heroes are in the game, I haven't seen them. Special Skills, Passive Skills, etc. can obviously cause a large variance among heroes with similar team power numbers but it's still a useful short hand for the very characteristics you stressed.

@@milodemoray thanks for the comment and apologies for the late reply. As far as the team power thing for me it it just a quick way to reference the stat difference between older and newer heroes. So yes I get that the defense attack and HP are the main focus but overall stats of a hero with a TP of 1000 will be more than a hero with a tp of 850, I'm sure u understand this already so don't want to labour the point it just seems like there is no need to agree to disagree as we are in agreement 😅😅 unless I'm missing something. Thanks also for the feedback on Amethyst, as I said I am on the fence a little but I may max her if the bloody wars heavily favour fiends. Tx again 🍺

Ill probably pick Luna and just not level her. Just to get rid of my 15 Zidane and 5 of my chloris lmao I dont really care for soul exchange because every hero is always no costume and/or way too old to be useable. They need to just start using new heroes and stop with the backlog of useless, 20 year old heroes haha Edit: Also, ive had frond 2lb for awhile now and have him at 22 emblems also and he is always the first to die.... I would say skip him. I have the matching 5* troop and while his damage is nice and he is fast speed he cant really take a hit from todays meta snipers/the toons. Ive tried to use him against nautica tank teams and he really doesnt stand a chance.

Thanks for the feedback and sos for the late reply. Nice to hear from someone who obviously has a very deep roster. I do agree that the devs need to up the anti a bit with future Soul Exchange's 20 souls for an Acidfire or similar would be a lot more enticing 😅

@@McNaultyYT My roster isnt that deep, but i am one of the stronger players on my team and most of us are rocking a defense over 7000 now. My best is 7600 with no toons lol Yes, i totally agree! While it is nice to get rid of a bunch of heroes and free up space i feel like most players who even have enough souls either already have the heroes or wouldnt level them for how weak they are. Obviously there are exceptions but every alliance i have been in majority of the players dont care for most of whats featured. Either use newer heroes, or use heroes with costumes so they can actually compete and be used!

Top three for me is blossom ( just got phenexa though) amethysts and frond ( who I'm probably gonna nab) Im stacked in nature though with xiamara, mena ,Humbert , & moncharmin. I'll probably just make two green teams tbh
