Excellent session. The answer in my opinion to the question that why the formerly colonised people flocked to the country , is that the ruling colonial authorities left the colonies in such disarray , corruption and poverty, that the indigenous people had little choice then to economically migrate and strive for a better life. They just took a part of what was taken from them.

India built a new parliament building because delimitation of parliamentary constituencies is a constitutional requirement. It will lead to increase in the number of MPs. We need more room to seat them all. It is nothing to do with decolonisation. Britain should follow suit and replace their leaky parliament building. We in India will not accuse you of doing something underhand.
