Josh, the process you are going through now (which started with how your family and ex treated you) is known as becoming red-pilled. You are slowly discovering the real reality, behind all those lies everyone told you your entire life. It allows you to easily see how blue-pilled people (almost everyone) are being used with lies and manipulation in order to create happy slaves. Keep going, following someone's red-pilled journey is very inspiring to watch and you may help others rise out and take control over their life like you are doing.

You’re not reading too much into it. It’s subtle but it’s those little things that lead to our perverse psychology with work. Go to work, give it your all but always look out for you and yours because that’s what the company will do. If you go into it thinking that way, I think there would be less distress when companies cut you because you didn’t make the cut. I am really good at what I do and if another organization offers an opportunity that is better for my family, I’ll take it. While I’m with that organization though, I’ll kick ass and keep their corporate interests above all other corporate interests, second only to my personal interests. Great video bro

Hey Josh! I like your content. I wish more companies can see your work and little by little start changing how they exploit their employees. The other side of the coin is on how no matters how many hours some people work, they just simply are not productive and that´s how they balance it! Honestly, I think that maybe 30 hours per week will do even more progress on any job than 40,48 or more hours per week with the overtime. Unfortunately, that´s how it is. If no one keeps an eye on the team, they won´t do anything and that´s why some CEOs prefer to have employees under closed-circuit surveillance the entire shift. I hate that, but for some CEOs, that´s the only way to get the job done. Thanks man! I think I extended myself too much.

Personally I think "Employee of the Month/Year" awards are kind of cool, it's kind of a trophy that you can put up somewhere and there you have proof that said company thinks that you did something really good for them, but then again you probably won't get an award unless you actively play their stupid little games and let them buy you with tiny gifts. It's really meh since it's somewhat understandable why they do it but at the same time there's this huge "why" in it all. They want to look good and keep profits up since a company is nothing but the money it generates anyways, kind of. Man is it a strange world.

You're nothing more than a number and it's up to you to turn what money they give you the table scraps they give you whether you'll put it into things that make you poor or you'll put it into things that'll make you richer. However in this day and age you either have to live in your parents basement either literally or metaphorically find a roommate that's willing to help you build your dream or third live in a car housing in rent is ridiculously high right now and that can eat up 50 to 70% of your minimum wage income. This is why you're going to see a sharp rise of entrepreneurs either living in their parents or girlfriends they're a friend's basement or living in their car because they don't want to have that burden and wants to have enough cash they can do section 2 or mortgage assumptions to acquire properties

The real problem is, companies don't recognize the value of their employees. They look at them as almost an afterthought. Not really interested. Always looking for ways to make more money when that ability is right in front of them. It's their people. You treat them like they're valuable and you'll make money. Ever hear of Les Schwab? He was a friend of my dads. He founded Les Schwab Tires. His kids took it over and ruined it, but when he had it, he had 95% of the entire Tire business in the United States at one point. I admired the man. I once asked my dad why we always bought her stuff from Les. Dad would say because in his mind, people count. That's the secret.

It’s weird how many corporations treat employees like they’re the company’s kids.
