Pledge moves become the type of the 'winning' type (in the type chart). So water+grass = grass, water+fire= water, grass+fire= fire. The order doesn't matter.

Empoleon DEFINITELY got the biggest buff but Shiftry getting the same ability as Brambleghast is a close second. Have you heard that Dipplin is able to use Evolite?

QOTD: Empoleon got biggest buff because it's ability changed to something amazing. Before it could net +1 att from Intimidates on mere base 86 attack. Now it nets +2 sp.att on a nice 111 sp.att! It's AMAZING change! 2nd best buff is for Shiftry who can be immune to wind moves from Gennies trio and Heat Wave from Heatran. Chlorophyll is still great so it didn't need the buff. Granted Early Bird was useless for Shiftry.

I’m not all that impressive when it comes to vgc but I could be totally wrong, I think kommo o is going to be super slept on this gen. Dragon Tera clanging scales set, or you could run a steel tera for fairy’s, good move pool can be bulky.empolein looks nice now with competitive

Wind Rider Shiftry is incredible, especially considering it can utilise better physical STAB than Brambleghast can, such as Leaf Blade and the various physical Dark moves it gets What does worry me is that there's a certain *other* grass type on the market that is already a stupidly fast sweeper and essentially has SWSH Zacian's ability
