I love the puffins, or sea-parrots as they're sometimes called. I'm from Norway, and we have a lot of them along the northern coastal areas. Beautiful birds!: )

Not only are puffins not being empowered, but 99% of all species including puffins are being driven to extinction due to climate change, hunting, poaching and habitat loss, brought upon by human greed and ignorance. It is critical we protect them before it's too late. We will thrive or perish, together as one.

as an educated person i continue to be shocked that there are people who do not believe in global warming. with all the scientific evidence that has been found, disbelieving in global warming is just as bad if not worse than disbelieving that the earth is round or that the earth is not the center of the universe

There are always going to be people who want to specialize in helping nature and animals. It's a question of pragmatism versus science. The spending on research grants is often the lowest possible, a drop in the bucket next to all the spending on our human institutions (i.e. defense). Against the poachers, oil spills, Texas-sized plastic garbage islands, and Chinese River dolphin-killing toxic rivers of the world, I say, let the researchers do what they can; if not, our species may be next.

(continue of my last comment) we have to change the way we breed our children how society looks on them and our education system, this is very easy and is done in many countrys today, (the USA has one of the worst education in the world even the amount of cash) there are many reformations to be done one by one many laws to be changed and many ot be removed. reliegion is static, and many times cannot be dealt with in these situations. this goes beyond the spiritual.
