One of my favorite things about working on the Living A Vocal Life podcast these last five years is the incredible singers I’ve come to know, some of whom have become friends. Jess Baldwin, a talented singer, creativity coach, and pianist, is one of my newer friends. We share so many interests! We’re both INFJs (Meyers-Briggs), love reading and learning about psychology and learning what makes people tick and have long lists of books we’ve read that practically mirror each other. Besides being a wonderful person to listen to, Jess is also a generous listener. I always come away from our conversations feeling seen and heard.
In this excerpt from Jess’s podcast episode, she talks about what makes her work with singers so gratifying. Yes, we have one of the best jobs humans can do, but it’s not as easy as it looks! You can find the entire conversation on my website (livingavocallife.com/living-a...) or wherever you go for podcasts. Enjoy!
