I’d say 440 with spec swift is like a double edged sword. It’s easier to hit boundless because of the lower cooldown, but because you’re spamming more skills you have to exert more brain power to optimize your combos. Definitely has a higher skill ceiling than 332 does, so I wouldn’t recommend it to the new player unless you’re enticed by the play style and complexity of the build. I personally love the new 440 stream of edge build because it’s more active than 332. You pump out more skills and draw more card on top of it feeling smoother to play because of the extra attack speed, but it’ll take a lot of practice to learn all of the intricacies of the class.

Thank you for this guide. I've been playing an arcana since the slayer release. It's one of my favorite classes. I feel like i'm still pretty terrible at the class. I think my biggest issue right now is dealing with the star card, your section on that helped a lot. I'm currently running lvl 9s ruin skills for my 332 build, with 1 lvl 9 cd for celestial rain and lvl 7 cd gems for the rest of the skills. I was trying to figure out if it would be more impactful to get those damage gems to 10 to start, or upgrade all my cooldown gems to 9s before i get some level 10s. What should I do?

arcana is an interesting class that CD gem sacle better than dmg in my opinon. But only if you have good uptime, if you think you do good rotation with lv 7 cd gem, you can try to upgrade as 9 instead of using 10dmg gem. But ofc lv10 dmg is still a good choice as burst dmg is higher. if u have enough money just go for it.

What are some tips and tricks to go into boundless mana faster and stay there longer?

you can spam skills during mechanics and phase before you can hit the boss. So you are already in boundless mana when you can start dmg. Also, use cd related cards well like moon, joy, star or even balance can help too. Beside urself, avoid teaming up with summoner and artist as they will constantly recover your mana. But no.1 important is , increase your uptime :)

empress1 is better, you will need the crit rate from adr3. And there is some calculations made already in the community guide if you are looking for numbers.

@@yzhang333 never do crit or swift apart from necklace and braclet. Your dmg scale with spec you will always go full spec no matter which build you choose. You can try in trixion but I will guarantee crit ring or earring is 100% dmg lost. If you really want to go empress 3 adr 1 is completely fine. You will still do good dmg if you play well.

332 will be better in that case. For 440, lv9 gem on CoD is recommended.

If you are new to the class with no preference, I actually recommend 332. It is esaiser to handle. You can still check out my comparison in the video to choose what you like.

@Dr.CruelFighter normally when I draw cull, try to cull+rain+seren if possible hopefully within the cod window.
