This is the ultimate echo delay pedal. No need to search anymore. The line 6 green is pretty versatile but Empress only put out pedals that are top notch. I do need a great swell/tremelo/vibrato all in one and I am set for life

I've had mine for a few years now and I can recommend it. Great sounding pedal and dry signal processing with 2 separate engines that can be routed in parallel, series or left/right. Not a lot of dedicated delay pedals do that.

Newer versions of the firmware support an Echorec option. Strangely, to me, this is under “analog” not “multi”.

Can I set a slap back into a quarter note delay and use the tap tempo on just the quarter note delay? Or will the tap affect both?

It has a very good buffer, so you should actually have a better sound when it's on the board!

All the dual delay options are really appealing, but the lack of any screen or editor make it a tough sell for me.

There appears to be some modulation happening always even when the mod is turned off. I wonder if the timelines and echo systems can revert to a simple dotted 8th nothing else kind of delay. The goofy ones are fun to play at home but hopefully the meat and potatoes are still there. Not convinced though.
